My 15 year old grandson plays high school basketball and he tore his ACL playing when he was 13 years old. He had surgery went through rehabilitation and wasn’t able to play for almost a year.

He was finally cleared to play again 11 months ago and everything seemed fine. Last week he was playing in a traveling league game and when he came down after getting a rebound, he tore the same ACL.

I know this is just extremely bad luck and he will be going into surgery next Monday for another ACL surgery. I just hope Phillips and Chubb take the time to fully recover from their injuries before they get back on the field.

I actually just saw a picture of him at F1 and was impressed by the lack of visual difference between his legs, suggesting any atrophy has been resolved. I’m not a doctor so take it for what it’s worth, but his legs both looked equally strong in recent pics from F1.
