Rookie Ford getting some recognition

WR is going to be a battle in camp. If Ford is everything I have read he is, he will be next to impossible to cut. If Carroo becomes what we though he he would be in the 3rd round he is going to be really tough to cut. That puts a lot a of preasure on Grant to remain on the roster. Last year Jakeem had 4 fumbles and dropped the one pass thrown his way. These 3 guys need to battle is summer.

I wish we could keep more guys on our roster or I wish it was harder to poach from the practice squad.
QB (2)
RB (4)
WR (6)
TE (3)
OL (9)
DL (9)
LB (7)
DB (10)
P, LS, Kicker (3)

This is what we are looking at so far at WR.

Since there is a 10 minute time limit to edit, I will post the rest of what I was going to say here.

Landry, Parker, and Stills are locks. We gave up the farm to get Carroo, so I am guessing he is safe. That leaves two guys from the following:

Isaiah Ford 6-2 Rookie
Jakeem Grant munchkin 2nd year
Malcolm Lewis 5-10 Rookie
Drew Morgan 6-0 Rookie
Francis Owusu 6-3 Rookie
Rashawn Scott 6-2 2nd year
Damore'ea Stringfellow 6-2 Rookie

I think I heard Scott was coming on. We know about Jakeem. Anybody excited about anyone else?

Too much talent at one position, this is a great problem to have. I hope we will get to that point with several positions over the next few years.

Some taller guys in that bunch which is something to note. Thinking that they are getting some targets for the red zone outside Parker. It will be interesting to see if Gase is willing to move on from his draft picks for better players. Hopefully so.

Trade value is Parker, Stills or Landry. I don't see trade value for anyone else that hasn't proven much yet.

Landry is the heartbeat of this team. However, the guys we have at depth are guys that could replace Landry. We don't have the speed of Stills nor the physical potential of Parker. If Landry's price tag is not team friendly then we might lose him. Do we trade him beforehand? I hope the front office knows what they are willing to pay Landry and whether they can live with it. Next year we will have to pay Parker as well.

Only gonna play 3 so barring injury good luck taking run from dvp juice and the $20 million guaranteed man.

I am intrigued with Stringfellow....but there is so much depth at the position...

Could transition into one h*ll of a special teams unit though. I'm thinking Grant is in trouble, know they like Scott and they will most likely like Ford.

Remember when we were rolling with Legadu Nanee as a starter?
