Ted Larsen intends to bring veteran leadership to O-line

Compared to Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner it is.

Sounds like the same kind of justification that is used which get's people to slobber over Kiko Alonso. "At least he isn't Kelvin Sheppard or Dannell Ellerbe" :meh

Not sure why you had to bring up Alonso in a thread about Ted Larsen.

No idea, huh?

He looked like he did not want to be interviewed by Omar. Talked about being consistent as an O-Line player being most important. Says trust in what the guy next to you is going to do - and do it right- is what matters most for the whole O-Line to be successful. He brings experience (played in playoffs up to the NFC championship) and hopes to influence the young guys by being that Veteran idea.

I like his instincts already...

Ju'an James and Pouncey were held out of practice. Not sure why Gase and Grier feel the OL is fine.

Larsen is an important piece because he's the fall back guy if Pouncey goes down at center.

If an offensive lineman is available in free agency for what is a 1.8 million annually over 3 years, he's likely not very good.

You get exactly what you pay for more often than not.
