Knee injury behind him, Tannehill 'looks great' at first day of Dolphins OTAs

Right on! O-line needs to work hard and keep him upright this year.
.
That might be more difficult if pass-catcher Julius Thomas is our starting TE, and we only have 5 real blockers on the line.

- When our starting TE was a good blocker (Anthony Fasano in 2012, and Dion Sims in 2016), Tannehill had his lowest sack totals.

- When our starting TE was a better receiver (Charles Clay in 2013 & 2014, and Jordan Cameron in 2015), Tannehill's sack totals were much higher.

I've said this before: I believe our offense operates better with a blocking TE. Not only in pass protecting Tannehill (who has weak pocket presence), but also in the running game. Jay Ajayi only became a rushing monster after Jordan Cameron got hurt.

With nails & bolts.

Ryan Tannehill's breakfast...

True but not by the more informed around here. The kid has always been extremely competitive regardless of the team's success. You don't keep getting up time after time after getting the snot knocked out of you by unblocked or unabated rushers unless you've got a burning drive inside to shrug it off and keep going despite pissing blood. His competitive drive was never in question by those who knew better.

Deductive reasoning on a forum?...you should be ashamed of yourself.

It's great to hear that he seems to be practicing without lingering effects from the knee injury. That's absolutely fantastic.

But I think the entire football team, from the head coach on down to the equipment guys need to be pissed off about how the season ended. Gonna take a lot more than one guy to win a championship.

Listening to tanny current brace seems to be what he will wear on game days. Half lower leg to mid thigh. Please learn to slide with that thing where you aren't just grounding into the turf and exposing yourself to more injury. Don't pull a flacco

The best part of that is now we have both!!

Both of them are special at what they do.

I also believe Jay Ajayi will cement himself as a top 3 RB and a total superstar.

What he did for us last year was nothing short of epic!!

Love that we have Anthony and Julius.

Two different skillsets but both great talents

That's great news, but I still think he should have had the surgery immediately after the injury occurred. It's probably weaker than if he had the surgery. I hope it's not One bad hit and lights out.

I would never advocate for surgery just for the sake of having surgery.
