Earlier this week, Pro Football Focus writer Bryson Vesnaver released his five best slot receivers in the NFL and Landry was at the top of the list. This is some of what Vesnaver had to say about Landry being No. 1 on his best slot receivers list:
“Landry may not be the name that first comes to mind when one thinks of great NFL slot receivers, but he’s clearly playing at the highest level in the league today,” Vesnaver said.

I hope they find the Money to pay him...He is one of our best players on Offence..We need to get this guy locked in.

Really? Jarvis is the best slot receiver? Man, I love PFF!! ;-)

I'm sure the FO will get his contract done, but it's clear both parties will need to make some concessions. Hell of a player and definitely helps make matchup problems

Jarvis Landry is a must sign IMO. The heart and soul of the offense and really the blueprint for the type of player Miami should bring in at all positions. Physical, productive, a winner, never gives up. That is Landry.

He is the best slot WR. His ability to produce YAC is unmatched. The Fins have the money to resign him. The one thing that might complicate future moves after signing Juice is DVP blowing up this year. Good problem to have though.

If Jarvis agrees to wear a shock collar during the game, I make him the highest paid receiver in the league...

And some people on here don't wanna pay him? He is the most electric player on our team. With Stills and Parker we're on the cusp of having a dangerous WR trio

I do worry about Jarvis' long term sustainability given his style of play. There's no question he takes a lot more hits than even your average slot receiver because of his tenacity to stay upright and shake off hits. The hits add up. Maybe something to think about when commuting long term.

This is great news. There isn't a more accurate evaluation process than PFF. I've always loved their work like the rest of the site.

Our best player on offense apples for apples... still don't give him $14mil/year but he absolutely is the best slot in the NFL and not sure why the author thinks that would be surprising? Landry is a pretty well known and popular player outside of Miami.
