Free Agents Left

I wouldn't mind adding Gary Barnadge at te on a one tear deal and then address the position long term in the 2018 draft and free agency.

I've been saying all offseason we should look at Austin Pasztor from cleveland. a player for guard and he played RT I believe. Extra depth who could maybe push to start.

Dan Williams for the DL? or Jared Odrick I would welcome back

Also- Perry Riley. I'm not a huge expert on him, but I think he could be a decent thumper. Good chance Misi is hurt at some point and more depth would be good

Right now we hold tight.

I think there will be lots of other potential talent that shakes lose.

Plus we may have plenty of guys on our roster now that take that leap and perform at a surprising level.

I met Jarius Byrd when he was like 5 - his dad Gil Byrd was with him and I was doing some work at a hospital in San Diego. While talking to dad 5 year old Jarius decided to spontaneously do a hand stand and begin to do upside down "push-ups" or handstand pushups. I said "WHAT??" The kid was cut at 5...That's genetics...Dad was a really good person too.

I say sign Jarius so I can say I met a current Dolphin...Is that too much?

Also kick the tires on Mangold for sure - maybe drop the coinage for him because Pouncey is out by week 6 if we get lucky to have him that long.

We should sign 3 O lineman from that list... Ryan Clady, Mangold, and Paztor. That would solidify our Oline more than any other year this decade.

I'm all for any interior lineman, as I believe we will definitely be hurting either through injury or bad play early in the season. Also, I thought A. Vernon was a pro bowl type cb not long ago ?!? Barnage may be a decent sign as we don't know what we have with Julius

Right now a veteran outside linebacker is important IMO along with the interior offensive line.

Boy that list is as slim pickins' as the Thanksgiving turkey on the November 25th!

I really hope that we do a lot of research on Zachary Orr since he is coming out of retirement. With Misi still being unable to go, Orr could really help out be allowing one of the others to slide to the outside. He is young, but does have some medical issues, but as long as we don't give him a bunch of guaranteed money, we should be able to protect ourselves. If anything, it just gives us a little extra time for Raekwon to get up to speed.

I would say (again) DT but it won't happen until the FO gets a look at our new DT's in pads. The team wants a guy who can disrupt and get into the backfield.

That spells Sen’Derrick Marks but I'm not sure what is going on with him. He had like 8.5 sacks (at DT) a few years ago and then got injured and came back last year only to be used as a backup. He seemed to play pretty well. He is 30 years old but would probably have been our #2 DT last year and offers more consistency than Phillips and tons more experience than any other DT on the roster. He had 3.5 sacks last year (3 more than Phillips) in only one start and played 50% of the defensive snaps (540).

I wouldn't mind seeing a run-stuffer like Dan Williams but he is probably not what the FO is looking for....

I'm pretty amazed at some of the names on that list. Some high profile FA's just a few years (or less) removed. Lots of former players that had great seasons and then fell way off.

That was my first thought when I saw that this morning. If he's cleared by Dr's we have nothing to lose. Additionally, any help he could bring to beating the Ravens would be a bonus.

Sam Shields to compete for the slot job, assuming he's fit again.
