Jared Odrick!!! Two rookie late round draft choice rookie DT Serving as #3 and #4 is crazy. We need a vet behind Jordan and Suh. If you look at how many snap counts our 3-4 got last year this is a serious concern.

I'm with you, but I expect our need to crop up before the season starts. I just can't see a guy who's now on crutches and/or using a cane, being ready for opening day. I mean, I really hope he is, but "me being real" just isn't getting there...

Ya, that FS spot was an issue for so long and then it seemed like we got this gift from Detroit only to lose it again. I have nothing but good things to say about him and like wish him well. \
 
I agree with those who think Adam Gase will wait to see how the young guys progress at the defensive tackle position.

That is one area that really concerns me. Jared Odrick would seem like a nice add as someone who can bring the versatility to play DT and DE. I always thought he was solid, but honestly haven't followed what his career has been since he left Miami.

Dan Williams is another DT who has been a factor in the running game. Gase knows him from his time in Denver so that could be a possibility.
 
Our Oline is still an area of concern for me. I'd like to see Mangold signed. Maybe he could compete at one of the guard spots, and also be insurance if Pouncey goes down again.

Otherwise, probably wait for final cuts and try to scoop a DT and/or OG if we can get a decent one. We are also always looking for DB's, so watch those as well.
 
I think they should at least kick the tires on Mangold. I am not convinced that Pouncey will be ready for the start of the regular season and, even if he is, that he will last more than a couple of games. It is time to look for his replacement.
 
People keep mentioning Nick Mangold as if he would want to sign with us and have to wait until if/when Mike Pouncey get's hurt. It's not like the Dolphins are selling the idea to Mangold that Pouncey will definitely get hurt and that he needs to bide his time until he does. If you want him to play guard that's another thing.
