Cutler's over / under

Okay after hearing how good he's been in practice I'm switching to over 30....If and a big if our oline protects there's no reason not too with all our playmakers. Tomorrow could shed some light.
 
The tempos gonna help the #s. That's worth a bump on the projections
 
I'm going an optimistic 26-12 but who really knows. it's a new team, new season, and we've seen 2 pre-season drives. I actually hope for better numbers but I'm being a realistic optimist at this point. whole wife's side of the family is bears fans and they can't stop laughing at us for signing Cutler. I need them to eat some crow!

Looking forward to revising this in week 17. You could be spot on, but reports so far have been promising for a guy 2 weeks removed from the couch....only time will tell.

We are not going to score on average 30 pts per game
That's 480 pts in a season

The Dolphins have scored 480+ points only once in it's history
1984 Dan Marino(48 tds) led team and this is no Dan Marino led team

2016 only 1 team beat 480 pts...Atlanta
2015...2 teams
2014...2 teams
2013...1 team
2012...2 teams
2011...3 teams
2010...1 team

It's not easy to score 30 points per game

Career year...in the best situation he has been in by far in terms of coaching...surrounding cast...system.

I look for 28-35 touchdowns....interceptions 10-15

No it's not easy...but it easier than it was in 1984.

6 of the top 7 scoring teams in history have accomplished this feat since the passing rules changes of 2007 pushed by Brady and Manning....which has increased scoring in this league and made a mockery of passing records.

No coincedence Marino's passing records held until 2007 and then got shredded after that.

It would be higher if he didn't throw so many flat footed

If you play Miami and you give dvp single coverage with no help over the top you are gonna pay dearly this year. That kid tracks the ball at an elite level in the air. And uses his hands very well in his vertical stem
