Timmons suspended indefinitely

Guys this is not anything goes so post accordingly

Good you deleted that Jerry

Keep it up and I hand out thread bans

Again this thread is about Timmons. Responding to an earlier post that referenced tannehill is off topic.

Timmons is the subject we are discussing.

If you want to discuss it send me a PM

Let's move on.

I don't know what is worse:

1. The incredible injuries we have sustained.

2. The incredible bad luck this team has.

3. The incredible people who call themselves fans, yet do nothing but bitch and moan. No matter what happens or how we fix it, it's wrong.

Timmons ****ed us. Hard. Tbaum didn't see it coming. Gase didn't see it coming. Ross didn't see it coming. And neither did you. Or I. But it happened, and now he's likely history. So we went from that to now what? Then we grabbed a prospect. Since it isn't Zach Thomas, AJ Duhe, or Nick Buoniconti, it was the worst move we could make. As if we had alternatives.

And, by the way, the learned scholars are once again braying how badly Kiko sucks.

Well hell, top LBs are a dime a dozen, especially this time of year. Too bad we didn't draft one (did we?) or sign a good one in free agency. That would have helped.

Is there a limit to how many guys you can ignore?

So why are we calling it an indefinite suspension, when in reality it can be 4?

We dont have the facts yet, so everyone needs to calm down. I doubt he's gone full Dimitrius Underwood. Whatever Timmons is going through, I hope he gets through it ok.

I don't believe this is the end for Timmons. This "indefinite suspension" is not exactly indefinite, being that Miami can only suspend him for a maximum of 4 games. There are only 2 options at this point - suspend him for 4 games then cut him, or suspend him for a few games and play him. I believe they will play him after a few games. If they thought his offense justified his release, they would have cut him already. He'll be back imo.
We have the facts for the most part. Timmons is a clown and when Miami traded for Anthony they essentially sealed Timmons fate. The facts are in and Timmons is done in Miami

So why are we calling it an indefinite suspension, when in reality it can be 4?
Because they want to make it clear he won't be back before 4 games. Then after 4 games they are gonna work out a settlement with him or just cut him

Guys once again. Any discussion about Tannehill even if you are replying to an earlier post is off topic.

This thread is for discussing Timmons.

Is it standard practice to file a missing persons report for when this effectively amounts to someone not showing up to work?

This struck me as odd as well. It makes me think, and this is entirely supposition, that something happened prior to this and when he was a no show the team already knew something was afoot. The short amount of time it took the team to file the missing persons report feels like they were already positioning themselves for a future court/contract battle. Again, entirely supposition.
