StubHub center set off fireworks after missed field goal

Definitely had the feel of a Dolphins home game. The "Lets go Dolphins" chant was deafening at some points during the game. It was also very funny that they set off the cannon as the Dolphins were celebrating the missed field goal

Spanos foisted the Chargers on LA. Apparently few wanted them. KC fans will fill Staples next week.

The Rams at least have history in LA and Orange County before Carroll Rosenbloom's gold digger widow screwed over his son Steve and carpetbagged it out to St. Louis. (so I'm not exactly crying over their loss either). The Raiders still have a hard core fan base in SoCal also, so it's ridiculous that of the 3 teams, the one that's least likely to be successful ends up there playing in a soccer venue.

Of course, as unlikely as it seems to happen, if the Chargers do build a league juggernaut, they will come.

The Rams, playing in the cavernous L.A. Coliseum, drew just 56,612 people to their game against Washington. The Chargers meanwhile, playing in the 27,000-seat StubHub Center in nearby Carson, had a measly 25,381 patrons watch their loss against Miami. The combined attendance for the Rams and Chargers was 81,993. These numbers are especially low considering that on Saturday night, the USC-Texas game – also played in the Coliseum – had 84,714 fans.

The NFL in general is getting a rough wake up call. It going to get worse in all the ""down" markets with quality of play suffering and the prices escalating.
The Fins won yesterday but I'm sure glad i didn't drop $$$ to see it in person. There game itself was pretty sloppy and uneventful until the last 2 fg attempts.

It was probably all the Dolfans cheering that confused the person firing the cannon. Seemed like 1/3 of the fans were ours. Every time the panned in on Chargers fans there was always a Dolfan sitting there.

A big shout out to those who showed up and represented the aqua and orange.

I can't get over the price of NFL tickets, parking, food, drink etc. It's a mixed blessing bring in Europe- at least I don't have to feel cheap for not going to games because the prices melt my retinas.
