Miami Dolphins: Wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been targeted on 45.5 percent of his routes, which is the top rate for receivers so far this season.

I guess that whole narrative of Landry being Tannehill's blanket of comfort in check down options can be held over the rail.

I think it should be clear now, at least it is to me, that he'd be the "blanket of comfort" in any offense because of his reliable hands and ability to create separation underneath.

Also sick of this whole east/west juking narrative. It happens sometimes, but by in large he turns up-field and does not go down easily.

^^ I can deal with East/West.....its the due South that bothers me. I do think thats part of his game that can be improved. Crazy thing is he may even be better this year.

He's on pace to shatter Marvin's record for catches, and less than 1000 yards LOL.

He's a good player, but a Miami can't win by giving him 15 targets on short passes. He's proven he can go upfield and make plays.

It's only one game and Cutler's 1st in Miami. Cutler will start spreading it around more.

Really don't think running the offense through Landry is a recipe for success, but hey, it's working so far.
