Jay Cutler says Adam Gase has ‘an aggressive nature at heart.’

He wasn't aggressive in the first half...it took him a whole half and 3 points to realize that he needed to be more aggressive? Really?

Stop with the WR screens and throw the ball down the field to Landry, Stills and DVP...heck....Grant too....

As soon as Culter throws deep and gets int, you guys will be the first one to scream, " Gase, how can you let Culter chucking it like that, I thought you have Culter under control"

Lets give Culter a couple games to get settle, and facing teams without two hot pass rushers. Then we'll see what happen.

I don't like his conservative last drive. Giving your kicker a 54 yarder is never a good recipe to win. Just a criticism I had

Yes Nick, I did not like that last drive at all, a first down wins the game and gives the kicker an easier shot.

Guys are still developing chemistry yet some of you want us to be ultra aggressive despite it being our very first outing, how about we establish a rhythm first and gradually work our way up to being more assertive.
i agree with you Gase played it the way he should have and we have a --WIN-- remember our team has not seen the field in weeks !! they needed to get the rust off --in the weeks to come you will see the REAL Gase and the way he wants his offence to be --everyone needs to relax!!

I can't be mad at the more conservative approach during the first game...let's see how we handle things moving forward.

However, as mentioned above, that last drive was scary. Most teams beat us if we played out the same scenario 10 times....

A touchdown was needed on our last drive and we executed the drive like a FG was ok....a FG was not ok...especially when we give the rock back with 1:09 left on the clock....that's decades for Brady, Rodgers, Matt Ryan....

I want to beat the good teams, not squeak by lame teams such as the Chargers...at the very minimum, at least make the opponent have to score a touchdown to beat us, if they do that, then yes, they deserve to win.

I think Hoops is on to something there. I don't think Gase trusts his OL yet, especially with those two DE's that the Bolts have, so he played it 'safe'.
I don't think he should trust them ever

With only so many draft choices maybe he though he could make do. He did come to his senses and at least "stop the bleeding", so to speak
