What type of coverages will limit our CB exposure ? Why so much off coverage ? We might get better results jamming at the line of scrimmage to disrupt route timing even though I don't think Howard is that good at jamming, its still better than off coverage for our DBs.

I really just want to know how our defensive line can have so much talent but consistently get so little pressure. This has been happening for years.

Percentage of different coverage's. Zero / C1 / C2 / C3 / Quarters / C6.

4-3 Under Percentage.

Suh 5 Tech / 7 Tech alignment for the Stunt.

What LB gets targeted the most.

How many blown assignments a game for Maxwell.

Missed Tackles.

I know you mentioned some of these already, this is just what I am most interested in.

Offenses specifically game plan in an attempt to not let our D-Line beat them.

Quick Passing Game, Screens, Draws, Etc.

Now that we are hopefully going to be better at setting the edge with Hayes, we should, in theory, if we have the lead, allow that pass rush to finally get off.

Its what the defense is built for.

Anything you do will be great to see on here. You already have a bunch of request so I won't add much to it other than to say I'd like to see how our DE's are doing. Seems to be that Hayes had the best game among all of them but again, I'd like your opinion and also, how do I get to watch those game films myself? I'm not going to post anything about it but I'd just like to be able to see it myself whenever I can. Do you have a link for it? Thanks SOS

Ozzy rules!!

Nice one. That's one I had forgotten about. Missed tackles can at sometimes be subjective data but I'll mark it down when applicable. Formation usage and coverages by percentages will absolutely be included.

As far as individual assessments, that's requires specific tape study to the player. I'll try my best to include such information but scouting a defense is much different than scouting individual players. That's a whole different film session altogether.

Agreed.

I really just have beef with Max, so do let me know how often he screws us, if possible.

LOL.

I think a simple fix to a lot of the coverage issues (other than short passes) is pressure from our front 7. We basically got no pressure on Rivers. I expect that to change against NY.

Here's why I don't see that changing. We don't have competent blitzing LB's. We employ off the ball 4-3 backers. An offense knows the only real threat to the QB comes from our DE's and Suh. That's about it.

I also still have a suspicion about our run defense. Although we held the Chargers to a low Y/c, they only had 14 rush attempts and were using very basic run calls to barely keep tabs on respecting the run game.

Wow, thanks in advance for the ambitious project!

If you can fit any in, I'd love to see some details on:

* time given for qb to throw
* Burkes tendencies for calls on key plays (3rd, 4th, red zone)
* % plays dlinemen get doubled
* analysis on young guys that will hopefully be our core for the eventual championship D... Howard, Harris, Godchaux, etc
* pass coverage schemes

Regardless of what you add to scope, I look forward to it. Thanks again!
