Aaron Hernandez had most severe case of CTE ever found in active NFL player

I think when you sign your contract you are signing away your ability to sue. You know the risks. Maybe years ago when nobody knew about this problem you could. But I don't think he has a case

Didn't he come into the league before all the CTE stuff was coming out?

Are universities at risk? In a way, I think schools are even more liable than the NFL because the bulk of their hits came before they got into the league at a time when their bodies weren't as developed.

What a money hungry bitch he was a douche going back to at least college not NFL fault he was a psycho

Just like we protect under 21 year olds from the dangers of alcohol, and under 18 year olds from the dangers of tobacco, we need an age limit on tackle football to protect our youth from the dangers of possible brain damage. That would at least be a start in the right direction.

You could be right

Did he ever have a concussion history? He was acting a fool at UF so I doubt CTE led to his heinous acts. Maybe he has been in a lot of fights where his noggin got thumped.

If the NFL doesn't get proactive about this, we're gonna lose football as we know it. This thing is gonna be a circus. Anyone notice his lawyer's name? Good gawd ...
