Anyone worried Dolphins V JETS will be close at the end?

No team should be taken lightly, particularly if that team is a rival, and playing at home. In addition, we have had our share of challenges and I'm sure the effects of Timmons and Irma have been distracting.
I agree nobody should be taken lightly, and certainly not a division game.

But the Irma / Timmons comment was sound logic last week before the Chargers game. Its flawed logic now because the team has already overcome that adversity.

The fans ****iness has no bearing on anything. If I was to say the Dolphins will win by 50 and they lose the only thing that happens is I look like a tool.

This! Fans can be ****y, look ahead and really go against all of the player clichés that exist. We can start talking about going to NE for the AFC title game now. It means nothing and the players have no idea and do not care what we are discussing. I live in NE and it drives me nuts to here the fans throw around the same clichés that Pats do and act like it matters. "One game at a time", "Don't look ahead" it's what fans do.

Now I'm just wary of Finheaven Blowout predictions because they're always here and this team seldom blows anyone out. In fact, if you look at the quality of football as of late, where there are many lopsided games, being a Miami fan has been fun in the sense that they've been in a lot of close highly contested games. Don't get me wrong, I could definitely handle a good ole fashion ass whipping once in a while to save my nerves but we Miami fans have seen some of the better games lately. Some of the games that were supposed to be good, Dallas vs Giants, Falcon vs Packers really sucked ass.

there were plenty of people here predicting over 30 points at SD and I felt that wasn't going to happen. As far as this game, we "should" win but with our team you can never take a win for granted.

Ozzy rules!!

Why? We aren't playing. What difference does it make if the fans are positive or negative?

Speak for yourself. I'm quite sure that my yelling and carrying on caused Coo to miss the FG. I still feel guilty about not rooting hard enough for Stoyonavich to make the 48 yarder against the Chargers back in the playoffs in 94.

I don't care if it's close or a blowout as long as the Fins end up 2-0.

I'm just as "****y confident" as anyone about this one. Will be completely be shocked if we don't win by 14+

If we dont win this one its going to be a very very long season

If Cutler can't get on track and throw at least 1 touchdown in the first half I'd be pretty worried even though its Week 2. From what I saw in week 1 we're not going to be able to stop some of the better teams throwing the ball on our schedule if we're not forcing turnovers and so our offense is going to need to thrive in order to compete.

I think I just counted 10 games we will get eaten alive if we can't cover so our offense must be ready and this is a great tune up game. I expect 24 points. We need to score 24.

I am expecting a close game because I expect Gase to reserve opening up the offense for the New Orleans and Tennessee (home) games.
