Jarvis landry halftime speech

And you have people here wanting to get rid of him? Everything isn't about strictly stats, his intangibles and everything he does makes him worth his weight in gold.

I'm convinced we will re-sign him as long as his legal issue gets cleared.

Wonder how Gase felt about the speech. I thought halftime was the time to make adjustments. The D didn't come out and make a stop so I guess only the offense was listening? This win seems similar to the opening win at Washington the only difference is everyone was unhappy with that win and we tanked and this year everyone is okay with the win.

The only adjustments made at halftime or those which the team had already prepared and practiced for during the week. There's no time for anything else, especially changes to the gameplan or anything of the sort. So the coaches are really the only who make some on the fly adjustments based on the call sheets and the gameplan that was already set in place. There maybe a little input from certain players or quick instruction to others for minute details but that's the extent of those interactions.

Long story short, Landry's speech didn't interrupt anything.

Loved what Grant said about Landry's overall message. "If you don't kill, you don't eat." Go get it guys!!!! Kill Jets. Eat Jets.

Landry is a keeper, barring injury the Dolphins will offer him a nice fat contract when the season concludes, if not before that.

Where we getting the money?

You may not like the answer but it's going to wind up being some high priced vets not being resigned or let go to save on the cap. That's usually how it plays out. A guy like Wake for instance may get cut at a savings of approx 5+ mil a year. Without looking at any other contracts of the aging vets I'm sure some others may end up being casualties of the cap. Then again it depends on how everyone plays. Wake seemed to be invisible to me in the 1st game but if he plays really well then maybe he is kept around for another year.

I find it very annoying when people post Omar Kelly articles in threads without stating such.

I have found him beyond reproach as an anti- Dolphin fan guised as an "honest broker" in his reporting this team.

I know many others on this site have stated that they have come to a likewise similar conclusion.

I find him abrasive, offensive, and general speaking boring.

I also do not like clicking on his links because then I am inadvertently supporting his career as a Dolphin reporter.

I wish he would move on - let him be a Tennessee Titan reporter - or Jets reporter - but I do want to support him and his antagonistic points of view!

This is the aspect of Jarvis Landry that truly makes him special. His will to win and his standard of effort are both extraordinary.

On a different note, I watched those two Sun Sentinel pieces ... man is Omar a dbag. Kudos to Perkins for putting up with him. Even when Omar is right he's such a dbag that you can't stand him ... and I'm not even getting into how often he's wrong or intentionally trying to stir up controversy for clickbait.
