Anyone worried Dolphins V JETS will be close at the end?

I mean Cmon! If Miami plays down to their level and cant put the game away early ...do you guys think that will be a problem going forward to the season? Every dog has it day though.

I worry about every game and find ways to make it that way.

With the Jet's its a division rival playing its first game at home and needing a win in the worst way.

I hope Miami treats this game like it matters as much as it does.

Beating down the Jet's like they can and probably should helping them get off to a 2-0 start.

I have never understood how an athlete can overlook an opponent.

At least not on a professional level anyways.

Everyone learns that the hard way at some point but a true competitor will only need that lesson 1 time, if need be.

For me I didn't care if I was home or away, playing a dog or a champ.

I always put forth my best effort until the clock reaches zero.

Believe it or not, I'm worried about Austin Sefarian-Jenkins making his season debut. I know he hasn't done much and he's definitely shown a serious case of rocks-for-brains in his young NFL career, but there's no denying the athleticism he brings and we still have issues with covering TEs. Pair that with the fact that the Jets are super thin at receiver and McCown has the arm strength of wet ramen noodles and I could see him and Leggett being heavily involved in the game plan. Not a huge worry, but something to be on the lookout for regardless.

Two week suspension and apparently he's not in game shape, hopefully he wont be much of a factor.

I can't help but be nervous before any Fins game, but especially against an divisional opponent, and particularly when they're supposed to be there for the taking!

I hadn't heard that he wasn't in game shape. That's really weird considering he was supposedly in great shape and looking good before the suspension and it was only 2 weeks. I agree, though. When it's the Jets the easier it looks on paper the more worried I am about a trap. Nothing is ever that easy for us.

I remember last year we had trouble with Forte & Powell ....this year for them Kearse seems to be good. I wouldn't doubt it being a close game....they have been playing hard just no talent & we have a lot of small injuries.

Kearse seems to be a great pick up for them

Bowles will probably try to stick it to Miami

should have been "anyone hoping it'll be close at the end"

hindsight's a b****
