Jay Cutler's throwing motion

I noticed Cutler was throwing flat footed and opened his stance more than normal. It's what you see when you watch Brett Favre. It didn't seem to affect Cutler too much. Certain guys can do it, most cant though. I'm not worried about it.

Ok I'm worried now. Cutler is all over the place with accuracy. Doesn't seem like he's adjusting or resetting when he goes to his secondary or has to extend a play.
 
He's afraid of getting hit. I'm not sure he can play in this league anymore.

He's definitely afraid of getting hit which is why he's bailing so much. Add that with back foot let me get the ball out of my hand and shoddy ball placement and we got a mess.

Ajayi has to carry this show.

He ran himself to contact some and he avoided it too and he only bails to one side like clock work.
 
Its probably due to a degradation in throwing mechanics but I'm not seeing the same zip, especially when he's under pressure. Those back foot throws use to be bullets in Denver.

He usually plays four games a year at the level at which he played today or worse, based on passer rating.

We'd have to see far more games than two to know he's done. So far he isn't playing any differently from his own norm.

Yes they did. 40 yard ropes

He's throwing one hoppers and shoe lace level in miami.

It might be the labrum in his throwing shoulder has zapped his fast ball

He's also been late thru 2 games
 
Today, his passes had no zip whatsoever. It was very puzzling.

I agree the timing of his throws have been way off the past two games, and he's been inaccurate on all levels of the field, I still don't think Gase put the offense in proper position to win considering what he seen with Cutler, and he might have to vary the personnel because the Jets had our number, we might be getting too predictable.
 
That timing issue may be from slow processing post snap, because he seemed kind of confused at times.
