Certainly hard to tell which way Miami is going this season. The loss to the New York Jets was one of those where everyone looks bad and you want to rebuild the entire team. Maybe the next game everyone looks like Pro Bowlers. That's the nature of the NFL.

Throwing it out there, though. With a schedule that features many of the best teams in the NFL, what if Miami ends up picking top 10 or near the top 10? I think the big question then becomes how satisfied is Adam Gase with Ryan Tannehill? That has to be question number one simply because that position is so critical.

In other words, the Dolphins could be in a position to take one of the top quarterbacks in a draft that so far looks really good at the position.

Personally, I like Tannehill and think the team can win with him. I'd look for the best corner, pass rusher or linebacker and concentrate on building the back seven.

At the same time, if you think a quarterback that lands in your lap is ultimately better than Tannehill do you run the card up?

Of course. We should go the Eagles route, and I don't mean we should give up the farm to move up for a QB, but they were content going into the season with Bradford as their QB but they had their 1st round pick waiting in the wings, fortunately for them the Vikings lost Bridgewater and traded for Bradford a week before the season out of desperation. We should draft our franchise QB early and trade Tannehill, gotta think we'd get at least two 2nds for him, maybe a 1. If they wanted to bring Cutler back on a 1 year deal I'd be fine with that too.

Depending on Derwin James's 3 cone time I think he's an intriguing prospect.

It will be interesting how this plays out. My hope is that Miami has a good season and picks in the 20's. In which case, the team will likely be looking for the best player that drops at a position of need. Could even be an offensive lineman.

If things go sour, there could be a couple of quarterbacks with higher upsides than Tannehill. I would hedge my bets, though, and hang onto Tannehill until that other quarterback showed his worth.

Quite possibly the top prospect. I leave that to others more qualified, but Derwin James has to be top 5 yes?

Supposedly a 450 pound bench press, 11'3 broad jump,4.40 40 time, so he's very athletic but I would like to see him make more plays this year from the the safety spot this year.

Definitely not on Sean Taylors level.

He got caught loafing right there. He's a great player and an elite pro prospect, but doesn't quite meet the ridiculous hype. Not really his fault, like I said he's an elite prospect, but the hype was a little too much.

He has instances like this on film a little more often than he should, along with the fact he missed most of the season last year. He's not spotless. There are knocks. But you wouldn't know it if you just buy hype.

Calvin Ridley pretty much had his way with James and Tarvarus McFadden.

Bottom line is he's a lock top 10 prospect. Athleticism, versatility, and size/speed/strength ratio are too rare. But I wouldn't consider him a top 5 lock.

That size/speed/ratio is ridiculous but I'm not sure about his ability to drop his hips and redirect so I will be very interested in his 3 cone time. His versatility is his biggest asset, but I would like to see more instinctive plays from him and though he's a big hitter and a sure tackler he doesn't have the best form. Scouts hyping him as the next Sean Taylor
are out of there mind; but I must say he does have athletic feats
