ASIATA?

I was thinking the same thing. The coaching staff must not feel he's ready.

Judging from yesterday's game, they're not exactly the best brokers of who's ready and who's not. Unless they went into the game already knowing they all weren't ready.

Unfortunately, they're the only brokers we have. Discouraging, but it's still early.

Same question needs to be asked about Tankersley. After watching what our secondary has been providing, our staff legitimately feels that Tankersley can't contribute? I don't buy it. He isn't a 7th round pick. He played well for a major college program, against top competition.

Bottom line, giving him some game experience vs. a limited offense like the Jets would have been good planning. Instead, you're going to give him his first game experience against Brees, Mariota, or Ryan?

Sometimes I really question what is going on with our coaching staff's decision-making.

Interesting to note that Asiata is now the biggest guy on the Dolphins roster at 341 lbs (43 lbs heavier than Pouncey and 25 lbs more than Tunsil). This is also nearly 20 lbs more than what he was listed in college.
Early in Training Camp he was tossed around by some of our big D-linemen and the consensus was that he needs to get stronger and he may need some time to develop. Well he's got bigger...

Play both him and Tank, (and Allen, Godchaux, Taylor and anybody else that's young) This year is just not going to be anything like what we expected, from the beginning of training camp until #17 went down. Lets find out if they 'bite as pups' or we have to go fish (yet) again.

I think I'd wait till the Titans game for Tank. Trying to defend Brees for a rookie CB's can be emotionally scarring to say the least.

Asiata needs to get a shot. He can't put anything worse on film than what we saw Sunday from that position. Dude was throwing "Oh ****!" blocks all day.

is it really that complicated? Just block this guy, or whoever is in this area. Have they gone full retard on the O-Line?
