Significant win feels like a turning point for this Miami Dolphins season

Our offense, particularly our QB, still has a loooong way to go. This game was more of Atlanta losing than us winning the game. We had a good 2nd half, but there were a couple of plays we got really lucky on. I'll take a win anyday, but how you win is also important.

This team has been starting slow for years. A comeback win on the road against the NFC champs is pretty significant. I for one am very optimistic.

We should be able to bet the Jets. Shut down Richie Anderson(tankersley), and their drunk tight end. Score points. The Jets do not have a good pass rush. Maybe Jay will set his feet and throw . I just wish we had a tight end to expose Lee, like NE does

OK.... I came here to eat my BIG helping of crow. I was bashing Gase the first 4 games. I didn't like almost everything he was doing. But after they beat Atlanta in Atlanta..... Especially after being down 17 points. Maybe I should just shut up. I have to give credit where credit is due........ Good job by Adam Gase. Now if he can figure out when to use his timeouts...... He's gonna be really good.

Well.....

The D is good to go. D line is stout, LBs are rocking, and the secondary should be just fine. Miami LBs are rocking? Where the **** did THAT come from? Zach back?

The O......well......

If the line puts out and opens, Ajayi will feast. If he does, this opens up lanes for Cutler.

Funny thing. It's all or nothing with Cutler. When he is rattled, it all goes to ****. When he gets pissed, it clicks. Weird how passes were more accurate in the second half. And then slightly off passes were caught rather than dropped as well. And lo, Ajayi began to eat. And Sweet Jesus, we started to score.

You'd think we had an offense!!!

Say what you will about Tannehill, the sonofabitch gives everything he's got, every play. He actually can make soup from ****. You can see it, every play.

With Cutler, if it cracks, so does he. If it holds he's good to go. He could take us all the way. Or he could slice our throats.

Damned if I've ever seen a more unpredictable quarterback.

Well said! Cutler has done a good job of making us appreciate Tannehill.

This Jets game should be a bye. As the last one should have been.

Now that somebody remembered we really ought to score some points if we expect to win, and by God, remembered how to do it, this game should be a harvest.

D will show. Will the O?

I'm not sold on a turnaround, but I am sold that this is an improving offense and a very improving defense. we forget what was the major issue last year, as we get out of this doldrum on offense, it was the run defense. Miami continues to be pretty solid and they are also dialing up pressures too. I almost want to say, that if Miami can match their average scores from prior seasons (low 20 range), they can absolutely go on a run
I am almost thinking Burke might know what he is doing.

What is a turnaround if not a team improving?

Some of you make me laugh with your fear of believing in your coach and team and just enjoy the ride and being a fan.

Your reputation doesn't ride on your opinion...nobody cares...lighten up.

Defense is confident now....that swagger should grow.

Questions though on offense. What changes will Gase make? Carroo has not stepped up, does he need more time or should he lose reps? When is DVP coming back? When will Gase end the Julius Thomas experiment? Is Duarte going to ever play for us? How long is Pouncey out - and does it even matter anymore with him?

Cutler completed 11 of 19 passes (57.9 pct.) for 87 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 104.5 quarterback rating during the second half on Sunday. It was the 23rd fourth-quarter or overtime comeback victory in his career and 14th on the road.

hey, its a start...
Every other QB in the league averages 10 yards per completion, at least. Cutler is barely at 8 yards per completion.

Last year Tannehill had 261 completions for 2995 yards...almost 11.5 yards per completion. That's a significant difference IMO. To be fair, this is the lowest yards per completion Cutler has ever had in his career.
