I don't get it?

I don't know how this team has won 3 games. The first halves of every single game have been horrific. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

The defense truly gives the team a chance but you know that won't be the case at the end of the season especially considering they don't have a BYE week now.

The offense has to get their **** together no later than Week 10 IMO.

Everyone still seems to be hung up on the offense? The pats won the superbowl after a horrible start to the season where Tom Brady looked and played like Jay fielder. Teams win games.

We had more first downs than ATL. We are 12-4 in the last 16. A coach that pulled a playoff team out of a 1-4 hole, and a back up QB the last 3 games. A team that couldn't score a damn TD to save their life to start this year AND YET WE STILL are 3-2.

That's a good coach, that's a Solid team, that's how you win games.

The funny part is, if we were 3-2 but scoring 35 points a game while the defense gave up 28 a game, I feel like most of you would be calling this a great year and a amazing coach building on last year. It's Hypocrisy and a one dimensional Mindset that thinks offense is all that determines success.

I see a superbowl caliber defense, and a offense that looks like it's getting its groove and Can continue to win its games. Peyton manning winning in Denver wasn't the year the offense scored every drive. It was the year Peyton sat on everyone's waiver wire in fantasy and their ST and defense pulled it out.

Because having faith is much more difficult than not and we're accustomed to bad things happening with our phins. People, including myself sometimes, would rather point out the negatives and complain than set ourselves up for the imminent failure that comes with getting your hopes up for a franchise that's been mired in mediocrity for 25 years.
This pretty much sums it up. Besides, prior to the second half against Atlanta this did look like a really bad team that was really fortunate to win the two games they did.

The second half against Atlanta was the first inspiring moment of the season. And it was very inspiring.

We're lucky we're not 0-5, much more so to be 3-2. If you're watching the games, then one side of the ball is not doing enough and it's painfully obvious. I can't get excited over a team that wins like this. It's not sustainable. And if 'you don't understand' and/or, 'must be more realistic', than I don't know what games your watching. Seems like you might just be watching the 3-4 min highlight clips.

Thats the thing though, you see O getting groove but prior to halftime sunday it was so bad that no amount of excellent defense could carry the team. I think most people understand that great D plus mediocre offense can be a good recipe, but its only just now the offense has done anything at all, hence the doom and gloom.

I agree that with the defense, if the offense can just be decent, we are in good shape...possibly better than a very long time for December and beyond. But the offense cannot keep laying gooseeggs for entire halves, or games, at a time.

I wish I had your positivity. We've all seen this show before; this is an 8-8 team at best. The defense is playing well and I love that they finally got that working, but now the offense is broken. There is no chemistry between the receivers and Jay, you see that with how many drops the receivers are having.

I do believe this will be a better team when Tannehill is back next year, so my positivity is for next year but we will need to address the line again. Most people probably just find it frustrating at how many top draft picks have been spent on the offensive line and it's still swiss cheese. It's been a problem for way too long.

I think it is easy for anyone "to get". Our offence has been horrible in many many ways. If you come here I would imagine you know the scoop. What I don't get is why we have 2 seconds on the play clock at snap time. I see other teams hurrying with 20 seconds on the clock. Get moving for God's sake and try starting a game with some fire too. They miss manage the available play clock time so poorly that I have wondered if it is intentional clock management which is a ridiculous thought. But come on...

Complain about the offense all you want, but this is not a bad team.
It was a great win...as unlikely a win as any I've ever seen. But just like a bad loss, it's easy to exaggerate one game's effect on an entire season.
This is a team that has had probably one good half of offense the entire year. The defense is good but it's not the Bears or Ravens superbowl teams.
Good teams play complementary football. Cutler is still going to throw off his back foot and make untimely interceptions. Ajayi will still be hot and cold.
Take things one game at a time and see where we are at the end of the year.

My thing is, we've played about 3 quarters of good all around football and are, stunningly, 3-2. Last year at this time we were 1-4 and everyone had called it in and packed it up. Obviously, we can't keep playing like we have on offense and expect to make the playoffs. But we do, from the looks of it, have a playoff defense (still some questions on the D but we're playing pretty good on that side of the ball and I think we'll get better and better as the young guys get more time). If our offense can just get into AT LEAST second gear, I see no reason why we can't be a playoff team again this year - even with Cutler. Man, can you imagine if Tannehill was in there? (Damn, why didn't he just have that surgery during the off-season). Anyway, we are an ugly 3-2 and in the mix for a playoff spot already. No one, aside from the Chiefs have really separated themselves from the pack to a degree. We have to ride Ajayi. PERIOD. We have to set up play-action to help the line and Jay "Throw Off My Back Foot" Cutler. (Personally I'd like to see Cutler take a seat and have Moore in there. He's a gunslinger and we have the weapons for his mentality - especially when Parker is healthy). Anyway, considering the way we've played, and being that we're 3-2 in spite of it, you have to think there is nowhere for this offense to go put up. I can't imagine it regressing. I'm not booking tickets to the playoffs yet, but I'm hoping the big win Sunday provides the spark this team sorely needed.
