Just re-watched the condensed version of the game.

Damn, I am so impressed with Timmons. Simply a force. Flying around, smacking guys in the mouth, and just adding so much intensity to our D.

Love how Burke is moving him around. Saw him at Sam, at Mac, as a stand-up Rusher from his OLB spot. Only wish we had him for the last 10 years.

Can't remember the last time we had a backer that was a real stud like that. ZT was great, but was never an ass-kicker like this guy. Totally different mentality and skill set.

Definitely a force we have been missing. Linebacker was a weakness and DT a question mark at the start of the season, man we have come a long way scince then.

Good to see him playing well. Hope it continues, and he's bought into what we're selling.

More importantly, he frees up Kiko to fly around and not think so much.

They look good together. If only McMillan were healthy, we have probably a top 3 front-7.

Timmons was the most important acquisition of the offseason, he's a huge stabling force. He's exactly what this team needed the most and a very lucky find at that price given his past production and without him we would be much less stable/solid on defense. Rarely when your d has so many holes in it does one guy come in and completely stabilize it long enough for everything else to get filled, that's what he means to us. Have Suh as our rock on the dline, timmons is our rock at lb, and rashad is our rock at the back end. Gotta have rocks to build around when you're not there yet to stabilize enough so that you can build the wall so to speak.

I don't know who deserves credit, whether it's Timmons himself, his agent/handlers, coaches, the FO, the rest of the LB corps, whoever - but I REALLY did not see the Timmons "situation" turning out like this.

Timmons is a great player, I had no idea he was this good. No wonder Pittsburgh's defense had been solid for so long.

He's playing with a controlled recklessness that our defense needs. However, I see a 15 yard penalty or two in his near future. He's come close with grabbing face masks and rough hits.

He still has a ways to go to redeem himself but there is no question he's been a plus for the team on the field.
