Miami 7-2 @ Home Under Gase

Well more like 2-2 London game shouldn’t count as a home game.

Not exactly, because the Saints did not exactly have the advantage of homes field fans...Lets call that game what it was, a neutral game that screwed the Dolphins out of a home game.

The neutral game isn’t a home game, we lose a hame game because of it. That London game screwed us more this year than any other game there. After the London game we had travelled more then 14 teams will travel all year. That after 3 games, and a hurricane that made it even worse.

True, losing that home game hurts.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at with that comment, as my post had nothing to do with an attention span nor was it really an attack on the coaching staff.

Point being, you could be 8-0 at home, but if you finish 1-7 on the road, you’re missing the playoffs. Or like last year, your playoff game is on the road and you then play like you didn’t belong there.

This team also has to be able to win on the road if it’s going to be a serious playoff contender

At San Diego....win.....at Atlanta....win

I guess they figured it out?

Last season we were 4-4 on the road, most road wins coming against teams that ended up picking in the top 10 of the draft. We got into the playoffs by one game, and proceeded to get crushed.

This season, we do have a very impressive road win against Atlanta. Our other win was against the Chargers, thanks to 2 missed field goals. Our loss was an absolute embarrassment against the Jets.

I guess watching 2 decades of mediocrity would make this look like they’ve figured it out

I've watched 2 decades of mediocrity...and 25 years of a well coached team....I know the difference quite well.

I think some of the fans that don't remember Shula fail to recognize a culture changing and the new era we are in.

There is an ADD, short attention span trait in the modern fan that lacks the patience to recognize baby steps and gradual improvements in a team.

They expect everything to happen immediately.....and some things don't work that way.

Not bad. No I’m not including the stupid London game because that’s more of a road game than a “home” game. Going 6-2 or better at home and 4-4 or better on the road every year is the best way to get into the playoffs. Here to Miami being 8-2 at Hard Rock under Gase after this Sunday.
We are also 7-2 since the remodel.:woot
I would give credit equally to our new found homefield advantage. We gave some QBs some trouble last year.
