Hard Rock Stadium field condition updates

I'll say it again. The Dolphins need a facility dedicated to them only. If not, then put down a turf that can handle everything.

You're reaching again

Fine, then you explain how a field that will look like this on August 29th will be ready for a full pro and college slate a week or two later. Have you read the reports on how the field was for the Orange Bowl and final Dolphins game?

I'm listening.

I killed off our entire lawn, every blade of grass, at our previous house and researched varieties of Kentucky Blue Grass to come up with a blend that worked specifically for my lawn.
It looked beyond outstanding. Curb appeal was amazing and we got tons of compliments.
Even more compliments when people walked on it.
It was a highlight of our yard, not an eye sore like HRS.

Now, we have moved and it's time to do it again.
I'm so excited!

Yeah, I have an odd obsession with lawn grass, so the HRS turf issues are interesting to me.

If you want to discuss the condition of the field at Hard Rock Stadium or post updated images please use this thread rather than in the stadium renovation thread.

The upcoming weekend could be the moment of reckoning for this situation...new field just laid down, two games, and rain in the forecast...let's just hope no one gets hurt.

Their fans are street urchins, their alumni are cheap, and their students couldnt give a rats *** about football.

In other words: No.

:p:troll:wink
And you are full of BS.
There will be no stadium for the U because the student base is much smaller. UM has only some 17k students. It's a private university. People tend to forget that.
UF 55,000
FSU 42,000
FAU 32,000

UM relies more than any other university (Notre Dame the exception) on casual outside fans. UM is also in one of those rare markets with a pro Football team, pro Basketball team, pro Baseball team and pro Hockey team. In addition to that FAU just got their own stadium as well and is keeping their own fans now.

Funny you mention FAU, I'm going to that game Saturday. They have been a fun team to watch this year (not counting that Navy game.)

But yea, its sad that Joe Robbie is infested with mangy looking pelicans the night before a Fins game. :p

This seems a lot like baiting. I believe that's against the TOS. Not to mention you went off topic...also against the TOS.

The Canes pay to share the stadium which in turn helped pay for the renovations.

They drew 58,000 for Georgia Tech and probably will sell out for Virginia Tech and Notre Dame.
The place will be packed by those street urchins , cheap alumni and students who don't give a rat's ass about football as they secure their place in the ACC championship game. :)

FAU stadium is right around the corner from me but I refuse to watch a team named Owls.

Not sure I get the pelicans reference.

Lol :) I hear ya.

That said, Kiffin has that offense humming. If you get a chance, watch them run the HUNH, it is amazing how organized they are getting to the line. Makes me wonder wtf, our problem is on the fins.

As for the Pelicans....I dont know, what the hell is that mascot a pelican, a stork that dropped its baby? A vulture that got dropped in a vat of bleach?

In all seriousness though the conditions at JRS wouldnt be so bad if we had turf. Unfortunately, between soccer and canes games that field gets trampled. And I'm not so sure that the new roof helps the grass take root as well as it should. Nothing worse than watching our own team slip and slide all over our own damn field.
