Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard growing along with the defense

If you're talking about Lippett...I don't agree. Lippett led the team in INTs, made a lot of pass breakups. He definitely had a knack for getting to the ball. I think Xavien probably has more upside physically but that's been the story of many failed NFL players. Physically gifted but lacking in the mental department. He only played 5 games last year (Howard) so essentially he's still a rookie but I haven't seen him break on a ball this year, that I can remember.

Oh no, I was talking about Will Davis, the CB we sent to the Ravens.

I like Lippett, he can play.

With SoS out of commission, I'll weigh in for him to say...who cares about PFF rankings

Not to overstep my bounds but I really hope he's not banned for good. He was an asset to the site.

honestly, only he really knows why he's banned, but I will say repeat behavior didn't help.

I'm sure we're not supposed to discuss punishments, but I'll simply say that I would like to see Sons' privilege to post restored at some point. While I sometime disagreed with him, he was a thought provoking poster that made FH a more interesting place. Hopefully that is appropriate.

Agreed on Sons of Shula. Easily one of the brightest posters we have in this great community.

At the risk of sounding like a kiss up, Bill is right. Over the years I've been frustrated over how much leeway the most obvious obnoxious and trolling members were given. And then ultimately been allowed back to cluelessly take up where they left off because their compulsions were uncontrollable. There's one in particular I would have kicked to the curb 3 years before he was mercifully finally permabanned.

So without having any idea of SoS's TOS-violating infractions, anecdotally, I understand it's quite likely that "the boys upstairs" gave him every benefit of the doubt, and that he has no one to blame but himself.

OTOH, as polarizing as SoS's opinions sometimes were, there's no denying he was a student of the game and did a bunch of studying to detail out his informed takes. He really is/was one of the more knowledgeable contributors to this forum... and one of the most passionate!

I didn't always agree with him and sometimes was put off by the OCD manner in which his dismissive opinions were postured. However, I always recognized the sincerity of his stands - unlike the majority of vacuum-visionaries, one-trick ponies, trolls and passive aggressive opposing team fans. It's always been good riddance seeing most of those types hit the bricks.

SoS is different and really did enhance the quality of discussion whether you agreed with him and his style or not. He's also a long-standing supporter of the site if memory serves me correctly and emphatically, is one poster I'd be delighted to see get (I know "yet") another chance!

Great post. I agree!

I might be wrong but Sons of Shula wanted an apology from the "boys upstairs" site admins. He is the one who threatened to leave this site if he didn't get that apology.

That's all I have and also..... X. Howard not very goood.
