Hard Rock Stadium field condition updates

This seems a lot like baiting. I believe that's against the TOS. Not to mention you went off topic...also against the TOS.

Sorry, it's Friday and my wife and I are getting out of town tonight, headed to Boca for a fun weekend, without the kids :)

All in good fun!

Matter of fact, I'm leaving the office now, lol.

Their fans are street urchins, their alumni are cheap, and their students couldnt give a rats *** about football.
In other words: No.

Did you really just say that about my Hurricanes? smh
Sometimes, silence can be golden.

Jeez, they opened this thread because it wasn't "on topic" for the stadium renovation thread....now this one is going off the rails.

Whatever the condition it will be the same for both teams so yes , The sod is good.

I don't think there's been a game since the renovation where there haven't been big chucks come up and complaints afterwards...this field was just put down a couple of days ago and will host two games in 24 hours...with rain possible.

Yeah, it'll be the same for both teams...dangerous.

And the solution is what ? Don't play the game there ?
In the off season they will probably evaluate the grass and likely make a change but there is little that can be done mid season.

If that's wrong tell me the options they have going forward.

Luckily this is one of only two weekends where both teams play at home, so they can probably get by with just replacing the turf regularly until the season ends. The point is that this has been on ongoing situation that people thought would be rectified by now, but they've made no progress.

For what it's worth, in 2006 the Patriots replaced their grass field with Field Turf in the middle of the season, so it can be done...

The weekend of the Oakland game the Canes play Virginia Tech at Hard Rock

I agree they should have taken care of this already but I also doubt there is much that can be done until the season is over.

I think the Texans changed their field from grass to field turf in the middle of the season too. It can be done. They just put in new grass in a week. They can swap it with turf in the same amount of time. They need to do something though. The grass field for today’s Hurricanes game looks like crap! It will probably be worse for tomorrow’s Fins game.

It will be the same for both teams, but the field conditions wont be ideal- that’s for sure.

Just need to make sure the players come out in the right cleats so there is limited slippage and are ready to take it to the Jets.

Wtf is it with this grass. Too much shade now? Just put in field turf and be done with this crap. It's ridiculous. 2 yrs of this ****
