We want Moore!

So we can have another sub.500 qb...
so 2017 was just a Pam Ewing dream, eh?

Cutler actually played just as good as Moore had a better completetion % also had two tds and threw zero picks.
the deflection in the red zone at the end of the 2nd quarter leading to 7 for the jets doesn't count as a pick?

Moore is clearly better than a handful of QB's starting right now. Whether some team decides to sign him as a starter instead of sending out guys like Kevin Hogan, Deshone Kizer, or you know, Jay Cutler, is not up to him, but that doesn't change what usually happens on the field.

You're using Cleveland as a comparable and to help prove your point? Have at it.

How many qb's constitute a handful?

Brian Hoyer, Trubisky/Glennon (signed to a big contract too, LOL), Brissett/Tolzien, McCown (perennial loser who gets hurt too), Tom Savage was a week one starter...but those guys are the never was. Blake Bortles is better than Matt Moore on a good day, whenever that actually. Jay Cutler.

If we wanted to be honest we could list the guys who don't have it anymore or haven't been good in a few years like Manning, Palmer, Dalton, etc.

But I'm just talking about this year when actually in my mind there are a lot of teams that have potential franchise or at least one time franchise Qb's. How many teams wasted starts on guys like RG3, EJ Manuel, Case Keenum, Brandon Weeden, Geno Smith, Mark Sanchez, Matt Cassell? There's a lot of bad guys who are given a lot of starts but just aren't good.

To make sure I'm understanding you correctly, are you saying you rather have Matt Moore starting for the fins opposed to Carson Palmer,2 time super bowl champ Eli Manning or Andy Dalton?

Yes. Peyton Manning won two Super bowls as well but sometimes guys just don't have it anymore. I care what guys can do now, not what they have done in their careers.

So what's your answer.. You have a real knack of not answering questions...

You should be able to decipher yes or no by the explanation.

Trying to have a linear discussion with you is like herding cats....

To read that you rather Matt Moore start over Eli, Dalton or Carson Palmer tells me everything I need to know.

Party on

So which teams out there right now would rather have Moore than their starting QB?

There's too big of a sample to ignore at this point of Matt Moore pushing an offense down field, and putting up major points. Whether it's in a pinch, or as a prepared starter. The game isn't all about arm talent. Moore can't throw a 5 yard out, but the overall mentality and frenetic and aggressive pace that he plays with keeps defenses on their heels. That much is clear.

I usually don't criticize entire threads, but when I do I choose this one. Stay classy my friends.

What's going to be even funnier than this thread.... is the bipolar one that gets started when moore throws his next pick. It's going to happen.

I'm under no illusion of what Moore is, but i would rather have him playing than cutler any day. The players effort just changed and it was so obvious. They trust and fight for him so much more.

Gladly admit I was wrong and jumped the gun. I don't like Cutler, and I do like Moore (person/teammate wise).... But I didn't think Moore would be able to do a better job in there. I actually thought Cutler gave us a better chance to win.

The offense looked decent in the second half last week and that gave me some hope. They looked very good this week after Moore's first drive. Haven't seen the Dolphins move the ball like that since 2016. Gotta eat crow and man up to it.
