The Miami Dolphins are 14-8 in regular season games under Adam Gase but somehow have been outscored overall by 37 points. They find every possible way to win the close games.

Matt Moore engineered the greatest comeback of his career today #MiamiDolphins

The Dolphins haven't come back from such big deficits (14 and 17 in the last two weeks) in the second half since 1980.

The Dolphins haven't won 13 of 17 games since 2001-2002

Such an upside down day by the Dolphins' defense. Give up the most points of the season (28) but the second-fewest yards (272).

I asked Wake if he sensed a weakness after Jets lost their RT. He said every lineman he faces is “a weakness.”

Reminder, the Dolphins have won 11 straight games decided by 7 points or fewer.

Privately, Dolphins players said the field outside the numbers “was trash.”

"My favorite thing about Matt Moore is that he's Matt Moore. We do well when he's in there. We've got a lot of trust in him. He's a great player. He brings that veteran mind-set to the huddle and everybody respects him and plays hard for him."
- Kenny Stills has a lot of respect for the Dolphins' backup quarterback.

And in 1980 we were a run-first team w a rookie QB in Woodley taking the reigns from HOF-to-be Griese. Interesting transition year it was. Props to the fins on these crazy wins.

"We all know what Matt can do," wide receiverJarvis Landry said. "He came in and he wasn't shaken up or anything like that. He found a way to help us out. That's what it takes. Guys stepping up."

"The game is 60 minutes and we like to play four quarters," wide receiver Kenny Stills said. "Just finish. Coach talks about finishing all the time. We seem to play really well in the fourth quarter." Stills has a point there: The Dolphins have outscored their opponents 41-10 in the fourth quarter this season.

I think Atlanta believes all the hype they hear about them. Problem is, they're not that good.

Little Shanahan was a bigger piece of the puzzle than they thought. Trying to replace him with a booger eating OC gets you the Pre-K product you see out there.

The more the local media speaks, the more you hear about what Kenny Stills said in the OP. This team had to rally under Moore last year. WE always speak of the unity and brotherhood they have. for a second, do you think the teammates (other than Moore) felt slighted that Moore didn;t get a shot?

yeah I think the media is in love with the Pats d again, but you are right, ATL isn't right on offense and just the prior week, NYJ stomped them

i think the players want matt moore over jay cutler, thats just my opinion based on what ive seen and read

theres no disputing the offense was clicking more than it has all season once matt moore took the field...and people can say all they want that the jets werent prepared for moore but its rare that a teams offense runs more effectively when their starting qb goes out
