2017/2018 CFB Playoff Rankings

Texas only had 1 timeout and it was first down if I recall. He could have kneed absolutely. There's also stories against Ole Miss where he is throwing deep late in the 4th up by like 50. But I guess that's not running up the score either

I watch enough to know Nick Saban doesn't change his playcalling when he's up big. You may not see it as running up the score but other people certainly do

Sounds like you need to do more watching and less listening to stories. Alabama only threw 6 passes in the entire 2nd half of the game against Ole Miss. Only 1 pass in the entire 4th quarter. And those were by the backup quarterback Tua, and on 3rd and medium situations. The coaches still have to develope him.

Not talking about this year. And the Texas game was textbook running up the score. But I'll refrain from arguing the point I've already made its going nowhere

Texas game was not textbook running up the score, and I don't know what Ole Miss game you're talking about. You obviously don't either.

I am still not comfortable talking about Miami in the realms of what Bama has accomplished. I know for sure this program is back but lets go out and handle our business against Va and a uncomfortable road game at Pitt before dealing with Clemson in 15 days.

i do think Bama is gonna have hell @ Auburn if the two teams I saw last weekend play each other. I have Auburn winning that game.

I am thinking Wisconsin will drop a game, either this week vs. Michigan or in the conference championship game. That will knock them out.

I think Oklahoma wins out and earns a spot.

Question becomes:

1. Oklahoma
2. Clemson
3. Auburn/Georgia winner

Who they putting at 4?

1 loss Bama team that did not make the conference championship game but only loss came on the road vs. potential #3 Auburn or a 1 loss Canes team that lost to the #2 team in the country in the conference championship game.

Or maybe Wisconsin wins out and we get Canes/Bama at the Rock lol

That would be fun (at the game and on here lol).

I think this season Clemson and Miami are the 2 best teams. The ACC championship might as well be the national championship. If we play Wisconsin look for another blowout

As a long time Hurricanes fan since *before* their first National Championship, I don't care where they are ranked right now, it will play itself out.

They still have Virginia, a freezing ass Pitt and a pretty damned good Clemson club to go through.

One game, one play at a time.

Notre Dame was 8 before they lost i made that statement before they played. Still beat more ranked teams then Alabama. I don't understand the AP poll. Bama homers

Who has beat more ranked teams than Alabama?

There may be 3 SEC teams in if GA and Auburn play a close game . Miss St might have made it as well but they lost this week.

:)

Mark my words, there will be 2 SEC teams in the playoffs and one will be Alabama. Alabama losing was actually better for the SEC as they will get 2 playoff teams now. I think it's kind of bullshit but I can totally see it happening.
The only way that's acceptable to me is if Wisconsin loses. They can take Wisconsin's spot. But not the ACC champ

I stand corrected I didn't see miss state at the bottom they are 24th

Wrong. Miami has only beat Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

Alabama has beaten LSU, Mississippi St. and Fresno St....who is in the top 25 now. You definitely don't want to compare losses, and you definitely don't want to compare game control.

Everybody is entitled to their own biased opinions, but not entitled to their own facts.

Miami has beaten a higher ranked team. I can definitely say that ;) Top 15 Teams 1-0 Miami soon to be 2-0
