DAVIE — In case you haven’t heard, the Miami Dolphins need to communicate better and must get on the same page.

This is not an exaggeration. There is no exaggerating this point.

The Dolphins have played nine games and if The Daily Dolphin had a dollar for every time a coach or a player uttered one of those two phrases this season, we would have enough money to pay off Byron Maxwell’s contract.

All coaches are taking their share of the blame. All players (at least they should) are taking their share of the blame.

Well I'm discouraged after reading that. Nine games into the season and they can't get on the same page? Also, sounds to me like Pouncey is part of the problem on the O-line.

Why is it that other teams can communicate but the Dolphins can't? Oh right...dumb freakin players!

Well the fact that Pouncey doesn't practice can not be helping matters. Sometimes a RB needs to have a little patience and sometimes the defense does too. Keep your gap and do your job. BB talks about it all the time up in NE and Gase talks about it all the time too but with different results. I think it's time for different kind of players.

Example. When you think about the great WR's in the NFL you don't normally think of the NE guys but yet they always get the job done. Yes I know Brady's a big part of it but those guys are all doing their job and trying their hardest. They're not trying to be flashy but they get the job done. That's the type of players we need here. It's not just the type of players but also the right type of people

A RB can't have patience behind this line...that's a recipe for a 5 yard loss. Defenders are in the backfield, sometimes, as soon as the ball is snapped simply because the OGs don't know who they're supposed to pick up. That falls squarely on the Center. WRs flattening out their routes when the QBs think they're going long...that's more understandable although this late in the season it shouldn't be happening. Actually none of these communication breakdowns should be happening as consistently as they are. It's the only consistent thing with this team.

It's a failure of the coaching staff peroid
So the players have no accountability? Didn't this same crap happen under Philbin too? When do the players take the blame or do we just keep changing coaching staffs for the sake of the players?

Stop drafting players with injury histories,...injuries will not stop,..but they make up for it by having very little football I.Q.

So one of the cutler throws was a miscommunication I’m betting it was the dvp seam miss. Something looked more off on that one

What about the other 15 qb fails?

I wasn't saying that OUR RB's needed to have more patience. I was saying you always hear that and the guy at PITT is the best at that but what I meant was that sometimes a defense needs to have some patience too and stay in their gaps instead of everyone trying to make a play that somebody else is supposed to make. For what I read in that article you can see that players are doing what the other guy is supposed to do instead of doing their own job

sounds to me like they're trying to compensate for an inferior system by free lancing. the wide nine is crap and was when joseph ran it. Look what he's done to Denver's once great d. They didn't just forget how to play football. We elevated Burke to keep the same scheme. As for as Pouncey goes he's always been dumb. Not practicing isn't helping matters. Guarantee this line improves the day he leaves.
