Misplaced priorities

you're missing the point. It's not how much time it took. It's where their focus is at. It's all about them and not about the team

Ozzy rules!!

It's nothing more than pure speculation that his focus isn't in the right place. Surely you don't honestly think that these players practice and study the game 24/7. They do things in their off time, they're human. Some play video games, some go out, some just spend it with family. Whos to say the guy isnt studying and practicing his *** off then skipped a game of madden to come up with this? If coming up with a TD celebration is the worst thing he's doing with his free/non football time then we really can't complain.

I have mixed feelings. Sometimes when morale is in the toilet at the office, a little fun activity can help.

Landry know he's going to be a FA after this season, and with that comes a big payday whether that be with the Dolphins are another team. His mind (IMO) has been on his contract status all season, and because of that his play has declined. Touchdown celebration? Really? Jarvis seems to not care.

I love the old school line "Act like you've been there before"
On the positive side, everyone is finally motivated to score a td.

If I were as bad at my job as these guys are this year, I wouldnt expect to have that job for long. They should be spending as much time as necessary to be successful - winning games, not celebrating a touchdown- as they can be, and if that means focusing on the playbook after the work day is over then that is what they should do.

These celebrations are ridiculous.

I wasnt a fan of the no fun league, and always felt a celebration was fine, BUT...

These kindergarten theatrics that they call celebrations are just pitiful. Grow up and do your damn job.

Or have fun and don't give a **** what other stuck up blowhards think

I'm not worry about what they do with their free time. It's just a matter of players thinking that it's all about them. Nobody in the NFL can score a TD on their own. They need their teammates in order for them to score a TD. To me it's all about them thinking about themselves first and the team don't matter as much. It's got nothing to do with how much or little they study. When I say focus I mean the focus should be about the team and not about how they're going to act if they get into the end zone

IMO, Drake was embarrassing with his actions after his TD run.

I was happy for him but look at the scoreboard for cryin' out loud.

Having said that, I hope to see more of the TDs and less of whatever that was.

I'm sorry I made you feel that way, I like waterboy too, so we have something in common.

But I stand by my assertion that playing duck, duck, goose, or leapfrog in the endzone isnt a celebration, its asinine.

I like that the players have more freedom to celebrate but it’s a little overboard when half the team is celebrating a TD and it’s ridiculous stuff like hide and go seek and sack races. Steelers last week had most of the defense posing for a “photograph” over an interception. Like seriously?

Too many of these "celebrations" are look at me exercises where the player runs away from his teammates so he can get his solo with the cameras following him 20 yards down the field to celebrate that he just DID HIS JOB!!! It also makes the players look foolish when they are down by multiple scores and they are doing some long, drawn-out first down celebration. Get your butt back in the huddle, get a pat on the back from your teammates and keep doing your job. Celebrate after the game if and when you contribute to a victory.

This is sort of like me taking actual time out of my day to plan what I would do if I won the lottery.

Can't wait I'm sure it will something great like Shakespeare in the end zone
