We’d be crazy to go into next season without 2 competent QB’s

I dont see us going QB rd 1 either. If we got a top 5 pick - ok I would re consider.

No doubt. Has a good arm too.

But he is built like a WR.

Kid is gonna get hurt in the nfl

Russell Wilson is built like a kicker.

The difference with Lamar Jackson is that he makes ridiculously difficult things look effortless.

Tonight’s my first look at josh rosen and I really like what I see there.

Placement is excellent and I think that kid could run our o.

Demeanor reminds me of Peyton Manning.

That’s gonna require a top 3 pick if he comes out.

His game looks like a very good fit for us

I don't see a rookie Rosen unseating Tannehill if he's still on the roster next year but we will probably will need a top ten pick to even think about that option.

His placement leads to maximum rac return

I think off what I see that kid could go #1 in a lot of drafts

He knows where to go with the football.

I will go ahead and say if that came to me tannehill or not thou shalt not pass

Pure pocket qb play looks very good to me

I think his poise in the pocket is one the best I've seen, Draftniks like his arm but I'm biased to QBs that can drive the ball outside the numbers and I don't see enough of those type of throws.

Not Fantastic placement but good, Great Poise though, Jay is not making that throw because he'd be to worried about taking that hit.

My counter would be that the offense doesn’t seem to ask for big throws outside the #s... is that a qb limitation or an offense one?

It’s the same kind of thing that when Andrew Luck was coming out they questioned his arm outside the #s cause there weren’t many throws there but the offense relied on the seams and the tight ends...

And those tight ends were the Andrew Luck Stanford era best playmakers

I don't think Rosen's head is on straight. SoCal media down here is pretty down on him. Looks like the second coming of Manziel to me...I wouldn't take a chance on that...

True but from an evaluation stand point its a question mark. Main reason I had a crush on Wentz was because he made a living throwing outside the numbers in college and consistently threw 4.7 receivers open.

There's even more mock drafts with Darnold at number 1 than Rosen. Mayfield and Rosen are the QBs I would look at though.

Impressive drive by Rosen.

Thing about darnold is there’s an awful lot of outside of the pocket play. In terms of pure pocket play I like Rosen more from what I see. And that placement is excellent but I would like to see some timing routes outside the #s to see the arm more

Rosen looks like the West Coast rac fit to me

I think both these kids at qb would go top 3 should they come out. Neither is a hard sell

I agree, I think Darnold will work well with west coast concepts as well. Many evaluators also have Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Mayfield in the 1st rd. I don't see it with Allen or Jackson. A team may overdraft L Jackson due to the success of Deshaun Watson.
