We’d be crazy to go into next season without 2 competent QB’s

If the Eagles can give up a load of picks to move up for Wentz when they had just given Bradford an extension that offseason I don't see why we can't at the very least take a QB round 1 if a great prospect falls to us ...we'll likely have a top 10 pick. Tannehill is better than Bradford was at the time but not by much.

Bradford was on a 2 year deal and had medical red flagged prior everywhere he’s been.

Tannehill prior to this knee shoulder dive into which anyone would get hurt on had proven to be as tough as they come.

It’s just not the same thing. Tannys also only gonna be 30 in 2018 which means shelf life wise it’s not hard to project another 5 to 8 years considering he can play a pure pocket game if need be

He can’t read coverage or set up protections anywhere like him

Among other things

I mean Lamar's a junior in college, Ryan's a 6 year vet in the pros, he really shouldn't be doing anything better than Tannehill right now lol. I would say Jackson's accuracy downfield already compares favorably to Tannehill's though.

Can Tannehill make these throws?

I’m not the one who was making these tannehill and Jackson comparisons you seem to be making them to me.

One is pre snap and progression read based the other is not.

It’s not comparable.

Josh Rosen would be a more true prospect comparison

Lol at the Tanne/Jackson comp but Watson was much better as a passer on tape not only that, Watson's passing production was far superior. Jackson has a better Arm but that's it.

Lamar Jackson

At the college level he's been under 60 % passing for most of his career.

No comparison Watson knew where to go with the ball in college. Tape and stats says Jackson is a project at the NFL level but his hype is only increasing, I will say he's the closest thing to Mike Vick I've ever seen but if your not trying to run a limited Kapernick type of offense then he's at least a 2-3 year project.

Darnold should stay in school one more year. Rosen put up better numbers tonight cuz he had to throw more. But, Darnold has what you want in a QB. 6'4 can throw from the pocket, good pocket awareness and he throws great on the move. Give him another year to mature and he comes out NFL ready.

Can't forget about Jake Browning from UW. Jesus Christ, hell of an ending here against Utah. Kid is still a Junior.

I like Browning as a mid to late round pick if he comes out this year. He's a decent developmental qb. It will be interesting to see if Baker Mayfield gets redflagged as a possible behavor issue. You need better judgement and composure from your qb. I also still have my eye on Mason Rudolph. I know Rudolph plays in a system that leads to big numbers and has some weapons, but I just like watching him play. Then again his situation seems a lot like where Ryan Mallet was at Arkansas talent wise and we see how that turned out.

Tonight’s my first look at josh rosen and I really like what I see there.

Placement is excellent and I think that kid could run our o.

Demeanor reminds me of Peyton Manning.

That’s gonna require a top 3 pick if he comes out.

His game looks like a very good fit for us
I came in here to post this too, I doubt we do it, but if we go QB in round 1 than I want Rosen.
