Remember, Kiko Alonso is getting paid millions of dollars...

The only thing Kiko was doing well last year was creating turnovers and big plays. That part of his game has completely disappeared this season. It's disappeared from the Dolphins as a whole. It feels like we never create a turnover anymore.

They moved Kiko from mike which took away the impact of his instincts on tbe ball which is exactly what I was worried about

Wanted more poa and fill there but put him at weak where his carry coverage shows up in a negative way... allows too much air space

Doesn’t help that he has to read run and react to pass all the time first though. That hesitation results in being stacked

Lb unit as a whole forces Miami to play a ton of zone there little to no carry coverage which allows for easy conversions at the lb level in the pass game and no high level range at safety to offset

Should have made Kiko play a year at the first round tender prior to any extension to see how he fared at weak.

As of now he’s a candidate for release after the 2018 season along with branch

T_Bum screwed the Jets with his drafting and outrageous contracts. Now he is doing the same here.
Ross doesn't have a clue as an owner. Mores the pity.

With Allen, it seems like he’s adjusting to the speed of the game. He’s got some tools to work with.

Yea, between watching Jaylon Smith play along with Kiko, both my teams have poor LB play now.

At least Smith has an excuse with his leg.

Kiko carries a minus grade for the year currently. Minus grades for mike hull also. Average grade for Timmons and Allen.

Allen’s lack of instincts at mike yesterday resulted in a play speed that lacked range

Average grade with Allen is at strong side

No plus grade lb for the year to date
The way I see it is we only have one starting linebacker on the current roster going forward (McMillan). And he's never played a down of NFL football.

Touching back on the opposite of what someone else said.... LB is absolutely a high enough priority to spend a high draft pick on if BPA.

It’s scary what the Pats will have cooked up in the passing game with backs and TE’s to exploit the Dolphins’ linebackers in coverage. This is already in the Pats’ wheelhouse but their eyes have to be as big as saucers looking at tape of Miami’s linebackers in coverage.

If I know this, surely the bearded one knows this. I hope Burke has something ready to counter this. It can’t just be “Kiko needs to be better in coverage.” Put the guys in a position to succeed.

Crowder talks about how much he liked Mike Nolan as our DC. Channing proudly points out if if he didn’t think he could get something done, he’d speak up and Nolan appreciated it.

It’s amazing in 2017 how many coaches can’t figure this out, as you see players put in obviously impossible situations for their skill level. It’s like the coordinators want to play chess but forget about what the pieces can do.

Call it a litmus test if you will, but if I see the Pats TEs or rbs collectively putting a beat down on the Dolphins’ linebackers in coverage, I will lose confidence and respect for the DC. This absolutely cannot be allowed to happen.

Bump....because, well, Kiko is the gift that keeps on giving. As long as this organization continues to trot out these players who do not belong near a football field, nothing will ever change.

It’s borderline impossible to have a decent defense with him on the field. Laughable to see him try and lower his shoulder and end up bouncing off other players.

At this point I'm hoping for a non-life threatening career ending injury. If nothing else can get him off the field for good, then I'm down for whatever. He's that terrible.

I don't know why QBs don't just look his way on every down. Guaranteed completion and YAC. Awful piece of **** player.

Hate him with a passion. Haven't hated a Dolphins player this much in life.

The Dolphin need to treat the LB unit as well as the whole team the way the other teams are and jettison non-fitting/sucking/bad players despite what ever cap hell it cost.

One year of cap hell and then the next year reap the rewards.
