I wonder if Gase isn't a step ahead of the anti-Cutler posters and some of our opponents.
Cutler has been better than his receivers and a lot better than his offensive line. I noticed that Moore (whom I like) is more effective coming in during a game than he has been starting them. If I noticed this, then I bet Gase has too. If he feels that starting Cutler and relieving him with Moore if necessary is our best option, he certainly has recent game history on his side.
Many of you forget that a players most important ability is availability. Cutler has an obligation to the team and to the coaches when he is the starter to remain functional and this means avoiding hits - if he can. We are only two broken plays away from loosing both Cutler and Moore to injuries in the same game. When that happens we are down to 3rd level QBs. Some folks here seem to feel that's an improvement. I do not agree.
As for the clairvoyants on this forum who can determine all QB's ability from their facial expressions - all I can say is baloney!
