Instead we see an inconsistent and unreliable Julius Thomas. Gray, dare I say, could be the Jim Jensen of this era. Oh, if only had an offensive mind that smart enough to utilize his skill set.

Yeah been a bit odd though he has more 3rd and 1 rushing conversions than Damien Williams this year.

After this Sunday all pretense of playoff hopes are gone. Give snaps to backups

I want to see the young guys but Gase will continue to play the vets. JJ used to play rookies all the time. I remember when he just cut Jack Del Rio and name rooking Zach Thomas the starter. JJ was bold and wasn't afraid of change and that might be holding Gase back. He seems to be going with the players HE knows and running the plays HE likes but sometimes you have to adjust to the players you have and not be afraid to play a rookie instead of a veteran. If the veterans were playing so good then fine but they're not

Ozzy rules!!

I' not asking for the pups to start - just give them 10-20% of snaps. Guys already getting snaps have obviously shown something. Let's see more

Pure speculation, but Gase has used a lot of Dolphin money on Cutler and Thomas and he is financially hitched to them. Who knows what promises were made to persuade these 2 players in coming here: a promise to start if healthy? Unfortunately we will not know what happens behind the scenes and what our talent evaluators see in practice. I would like to know what Jay Ajaji did that got him traded. It doesn't make sense.

I'd be fine with that too but I just think that Gase doesn't like playing rookies much. Same as Philbin. I know Tank is starting but he started playing when Maxwell got hurt. Play the guys that could help you next year

Ozzy rules!!

I've been saying from the start of the season he should be starting over the old slowtimer. Sad when we can evaluate players better than the coaches can

Gase is making rookie mistakes which if he continues will cost him his job. Notice that Cutler targets just certain players while Moore spreads the ball around to any open reciever. I believe Carroos only catches this season were from Moore.

That's a perfect way to describe him. Gray is a tweener, like Terry Kirby and Jim Jensen. Marino would have LOVED him. This guy needs more playing time!!

Sometimes a leader needs to admit they made a mistake, and move on, earning respect and gaining experience at the same time. There is also trying to prove you were right in the moves that were made.
