I wanted us to go to it sooner. Comebacks are for suckers even though we've overcome so many similar deficits during Gase's tenure. Today I was not feeling confident, for mostly that reason...leveling.
Moore has better natural touch on those 30-40 yard throws than either Tannehill or Cutler. That's a big part of it. Moore can look stupid if there's an underneath guy to double cover and intercept but in single coverage he drops it well a high percentage of the time.
Cutler's touch is brutal. I suspect that's a reason we have all but abandoned those throws. Maybe they are called but Cutler knows his limitations and looks elsewhere. Tannehill has improved his variety of pace and loft but it will never match the guys who had it naturally.
