My 2018 wish is we trade Tanny to Denver for their first rd pick. We then take Barkley at rb then Lamar Jackson at qb with our other pick. Two unbelievable playmakers. Gase would have so many options. Plus it would change so much how we have looked on offense. No balls no blue chips. One can hope and dream. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Jackson is a joy to watch. Unbelievable college player. Elusive as it gets ... reminiscent of Vick. Makes some impressive throws that will surprise you.
However ... if you consistently watch him there are throws that are straight out of a nightmare. He's erratic to the point that it's reminiscent of Jake Locker. Can't get away with that stuff in the NFL ... he won't be ready right away ... if ever. I can't get behind dumping Tannehill for the ultimate flier.
As far as Barkley goes ... nah. Keep drafting backs in the later rounds. One of the few things that works for us in the draft. Plenty to choose from this go round. Gonna need those premium picks for other positions.

Why would Denver trade their first round pick for Tannehill who's 30 and coming back from major surgery when they can just keep the pick and draft a QB who's 22 and healthy? Yeah keep wishing

Cause Denver is win now with that defense. I also said wish. 30 is young for qb. Plus Vance was with Tanny last year and knows him. I know this would probably never happen. Some of you on here have all the answers yet.........
Trading in general hasn’t worked out so well for us since we got Warfield from Cleveland. Even ones that looked awesome on paper - Hugh Green - turned into disasters as he promptly blew his knee right out. Ricky Williams worked out I suppose though we never made the playoffs those couple great years he gave us. I think we should just stop trading altogether.

I would not do this.
We gave a lot for those two guys. We gave Tampa a pair of #1's and NO we gave them a couple of ones plus a 2nd too. Both times it set us back instead of pushing us forward

I wish for a total overhaul. I wish for a successful G.M. chooses Miami to totally change the culture of this team. I wish for Ross to back off, give him the reins and the finances. In fact, let me just wish for Belichick to quit the Pats or for the next Belichick to come in and run the whole thing.

That is a lot. Back when we traded for Hugh he was arguably the 2nd best playmaking LB in football (after LT). I can see what Shula was thinking. We stink at trading.
