Really? Really! REALLY?!

stop using that as an excuse, that was destined to fail, short week no reps, and an opponent that owns us...we were never winning that game

Not an excuse.......reality. Ravens had a short week too.

Let Gase roll with his buddy. Either way when the Dolphins end the season at 4-12 Gase will have to take much of the blame. He will get the team a better draft pick which will most likely be wasted. Just the usual disappointment and frustration of being a Dolphins fan.

Hey guys, heres an idea. Maybe gase wanted to tank this season and thats why he brought in cutler. I think thats probably what happened.

Gase's misplaced confidence in Cuntler reminds me of the latest Directtv commercials where the guy bangs his head repeatedly on the low ceiling, the woman drinking sour milk, and the guy with his arm caught in the vending machine.

We should run the ball into the line on every play!!!!!

I mean, not one pass and do everything in our power to shorten the game.

Has any team in the modern era not thrown a pass in a 60 minute game?

It’d be so cool to see! :cool

I'm just shocked after watching him play that Cutler was ever practicing to being with.

Such awesome memories. That was my dream in the early '70s. I was a Sooner fan during their wishbone heyday under Switzer, and obviously a Dolphins fan. Every week I'd not only hope for zero pass attempts for both teams, but not even a single drop back with an intended pass. I'd mention it to my friends all the time.

Sadly it was not a realistic goal in the NFL but I did have legitimate reason to believe Oklahoma could do it. Neither team ever did, although there were several examples of single digits from the Dolphins and low single digits from the Sooners.

The Dolphins really blew it in that 52-0 game hosting New England in 1972. There was absolutely no reason to attempt one pass in that game, other than it was so easy. Of all the games in the Miami heyday that one set up as most lopsided, and it played out that way. We had shirtless young Patriot fans sitting in front of us in the Orange Bowl, wagering before the game on how long it would take the Dolphins to score. I'm surprised I don't remember what the pointspread was. I do remember most games from that season. The number had to be huge, probably high teens.

I remember my friends and I debating the score if we hadn't thrown once. Everyone had it in the 30s to zero if not 40s to zero. But since every pass play broke wide open we screwed around and hit some deep balls.

I think this comes down to one thing, I think Gase thinks he looks better long term, if he sticks with the qb. This isn't just for this year, it's the future too. It may resonate in the locker room. If he deserts Cutler, he pretty much admits this was a mistake

I believe it's Gase who is suffering from the head injury !!!

I absolutely don’t want to watch Cutler throw another pass, but I want Cutler to play. The better draft pick Cutler will get us by playing is a perk, but I want change above personal, and that is more likely if this team quits and we lose 10 games in a row. Nothing promotes quitting more than Cutler, and Moore would win at least 2 games if gets the rest of the season.

Gase won't admit that he made a mistake with Cutler. That's it in a nut shell. Ego maniac, this is very bad for the Dolphins. If he trots that bag of garbage out there again to QB the Dolphins then he just can see what everybody else sees. Cutler is a QB who gives more points to the other team than his team, makes it tough to win, plus I hate the guys face. Give me a guy that's out there taking shots with a team that rallies around him, that's fun to watch.

Love what Dejesus said, NOTHING PROMOTES QUITTING LIKE CUTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So damn true. He even makes me want to quit, watching!

He should never play again and that has nothing to do with his health
