Cutler out, Moore to start

I know it sounds ridiculous, but that is the vibe im getting.

This is the type of game where the Fins turn into road warriors and pull a big upset.

Odds are, you guys are all right, im off my rocker and the Fins get plastered. But my gut is telling me they come out strong. Pats D doesnt scare me and I think Moore comes out swinging.
I don’t see it. This game feels like in 2007 when we were almost winless and the Pats almost perfect. Almost.

A pissed off team is what we need.

If Moore says **** it and unloads, as he loves to do, it will be a fun game. We may still lose, but Moore sparks the O, so at least they will likely try.

I predict our OLine gets Moore hurt and on the sideline by the 3rd quarter. We might actually get to see our third string Quarterback. Fales should be preparing to play because he probably will.

Moore should actually look good against this New England defense that FO's ranks 31st in the league and 29th against the pass, ranked 25th in pass rush.

Really, if he can't look good against the Patriots lame defense, then he certainly would get murdered against Denver's top ten defense.

It may actually play out that way. Moore looking too good to bench in a close game loss to the Patriots, then starting the Denver game and ending up a victim of Von Miller and the 8th ranked Denver pass rush.

The only thing weird about this game is the Patriots just came from Mexico, it might be a trap game for them

The Pats could have returned from Mexico with
Montezuma's revenge and they'd literally shat all over us

Great to see Moore starting. Too bad its only happening in a game where it won't matter whose starting QB in terms of final outcome. All the games we had this year where it could have made a difference who was starting at QB but had to suffer through Cutler. And what sucks the most is that Gase is still so stubborn that if the team loses 40-24 or something he's not gonna see it worthwhile to change QB's at this point.

I'm still excited though. Even if the results don't end up well, I'm gonna enjoy watching Moore play. He's a guy who tries that I can root for. He's also a guy who if this team gets down by three scores isn't gonna start throwing balls into the dirt, but is gonna try to make a play and risk his stat line getting worse for a chance to actually win the game. Even if he throws 3 picks, I'd rather a guy go down with a fight than a guy like Cutler.

It's only relevant because it appears to end the brief and embattled chapter of Jay Cutler in Miami.

He should've been considered an after thought even upon his arrival, our season was over before it began.

A lot of us, myself included, thought we had enough talent on the offense to make the season interesting......we didn't. Now we know.

If you really want to we can drag this narrative out until the draft with these lamenting posts. (not actually referring to this discussion) Let's save everyone the anguish and start looking towards our younger players for the slightest optimism.

Ryan Tannehill and Adam Gase will be back in 2018 with a clean slate. I can't wait to get there.

So true, so true

Let's be honest, our chances against the Cheatriots are slim and none. Given Belichick's skill on defense, Cutler's recent fear of getting hit, our absolutely porous OL ... Slim may have left town for Cutler. But Matt Moore is an enigma. He's like trying to draw into an inside straight. You never know what you're going to get, and even when the odds are stacked against you, Matt Moore gives you a chance.

Sure, he may throw three pick sixes and fumble two more. Or, he just might throw enough soft quaffles and up for grabs golden snitches to steal this quidditch match. Because, the fact is, sometimes the kid is magic! This seems like the perfect time to start him ... against Slytherin.

I suspect most of the team feels this way. One of the things I recall most about my very fortunate encounter w Tannehill watching the Seattle-Denver SB from this little bar in NYC was how much he lit up when asked about Matt Moore. It was clear to me then how much he is respected by his teammates. It’s fun to play any sport when you have someone like that on your team. Yeah, that good feeling may not be enough to beat the Pats but I don’t expect the team to lay down like it does as soon as the first thing goes wrong when Cutler is in there.

I don’t know about pick 6s but I’d set the over/under on turnovers from the qb position today at 3

Thats to funny. Rt was average at best. Thank Jay bailing RT out. Unfortunately he had better years under Philbin. We will be 8and 8 with RT.
