Riiiight. Were you watching from the Stadium cam or were you at the games? Just about every shot I saw of the very limited glimpses , maybe what 3 seconds a game, Tannehill was working with qb's or in earshot of Gase. Anyways.he went awol one game. Im not sure how much leadership could help a team lacking in talent and coaching. Tannehill, the savior he is, was still on the team. I never saw him once rally the troops on the sideline He is the biggest waste of time
In the weeks and months since, Tannehill has found new ways to contribute to the team, being a presence at all practices, meetings, and being a fixture on the sidelines during games.
http://dolphinswire.usatoday.com/20...ryan-tannehill-contributing-on-the-sidelines/“He’s been doing a lot really inside, just with suggestions on if something goes a little haywire in practice of how to fix things,” Gase said.
Tannehill’s insight has also been helpful during games. Gase revealed, “He’s been good just trying to give me suggestions occasionally during games.”
“He’s been really good with just giving me subtle reminders of some of the things that he’d be thinking of in those situations. I think him and Jay [Cutler] have done a good job of talking through stuff and Ryan has been able to get to me sometimes during a series to where he can suggest some calls.”
Gase admitted Tannehill doesn’t provide suggestions “a ton, but it seems to be at the right time.”
“He has a good feel. He knows me well enough to know when a good time is and when it isn’t a good time. It’s almost like he’s playing the game. It’s very helpful for me because he’s got a very good grasp of what our offense is and what we’re trying to accomplish.”
Gum? Get out of here.
