Any reason the website been so weird the last few days? Forums not loading, weird layouts, this new thing where replies to a post seem to be indented, etc.
Ck I haven't noticed it. Let me report it up the food chain and see if anything is happening behind the scenes. Just for reference and help are you on PC or mobile and what browser do you use?

PC. Happening both with Chrome and IExplorer. I’m using my phone (safari) right now and that seems to work. I suppose it could be a blocking issue, though I’ve never had trouble with that before.

I blocked all cookies for this website except the Finheaven one and that immediately fixed the problem.
I blocked all third party cookies and everything seems back to normal for me, Thanks for the fix CK!

Why is is forbidden to ask about why another poster was banned?
Long standing policy. Don't think any moderation decisions can be discussed in public.
Safe to assume that anyone who gets banned didn't follow the TOS.

It is not forbidden to ask however what goes on between a member and the staff is private and will not be shared with the site.
You should know it takes a lot to get banned so assume the member in question was unable to follow the rules (TOS) after given many warning to do so.
That's the best answer we can give without violating that members privacy.

It's not forbidden to ask but the answer is going to be generic in most cases. The policy is to keep everything between the members and the staff. How would you feel if you talked to one of us in privacy and then we discussed it openly to all members?
There are certain posters who creat patterns over the years and some are good and some are bad. Once you get to far into the bad and refuse to follow the Terms Of Service (rules) it doesn't matter if you've been here 1 year or 10 years or if you're a casual poster or expert poster you will get yourself banned.
The key thing to remember here is "you" will get yourself banned. It isn't our goal to run anyone off, ever. We aren't out to get anyone but over time some posters become their own worst enemy.
honestly, there are posters who i'm not sad to see go... but we have a TOS in place to ensure fairness. I've gone against staff wishes several times when I felt fairness wasn't in the forefront of our decisions, but more often than not, banning someone was the right thing to do. Second chances are considered and given, however, rarely does the poster actually take advantage of a second chance, and they often get themselves banned again.
... Which is how Shifty got dragged out of the closet.
