He most certainly did. He's going to be an excellent coach, but he needs more seasoning at a mid-major program.
 
Middle Tennessee and Arkansas Little Rock have inquired about David Padgett. He's going to get a head coaching job for sure.

The funny thing is that even though Duke is obviously one of the best teams in the country this year and is a Blue Blood. Syracuse is too. But even though they are obviously favored and the better, more talented team. Like I feel the pressure is all on Duke, they are the 2 seed and expected to go to final four. Syracuse is playing with house money pretty much, and weren't supposed to be in tourney. I'd like them to go further, but was just happy seeing them get to sweet sixteen. But the analysts have Duke as 10pt favorite, but while this will be quite a challenge for Cuse, like I don't look at this game like "there's no way cuse can win this game or like it's a really long shot".

I felt that about Michigan State who are just as talented as Duke and viewed to go far and their strength with rebounding was set to have them beat Cuse, which the did out rebound but the zone prevented them from being efficient on offense and not capitilizing on extra shots. But if you ask me for cuse having to play bunch of top teams like Michigan, Michigan State, Nova, Kansas, UNC or Duke. I'm picking cuse's chances more so against Duke. And the reason is because of match ups, rivalries and track history. Yes Coach K knows the cuse zone, but Jim B knows how Duke runs things and ironically Duke is doing a zone this season too, But this game is not in Duke where cuse has a hard time winning, it's a neutral court in Omaha. And like I said with history. Syracuse CAN beat Dukem that's the thing with rivals and this is a one game system. You know how it goes, a team can be more talented and better record but lost to the lower record rival that a season and vice versa. Since in the ACC head to vs Duke, Syracuse is 5-6 out of the 11 games.

That's only one extra loss from 50/50 and past seasons they alsways seem to split. But 11 games Duke has only one more win than Cuse, therefore, it's been pretty even, and Duke was a top team last year and an off year for Cuse last year. Cuse a worse team than this season and yet Cuse beat duke with a buzzer beater by Gildon. It's like the years we've seen the dolphins have a winning record and bills look bad, yet they would still split during the season and fins lose a game out of the two and vice versa where bills had a better record and Fins look bad, but still get a win. Am I expecting Cuse to win? No, but I'm like not worried about it and I don't think it will be a blow out Duke win. I think the game is gonna be close and if Duke wins like expected, it will be a close game. Despite being 11 seed and what analysts think, I'm not so sure Syracuse was the team Coach K wanted Duke to see in tournament.
 
Wow, this year's tournament has been wild ha. Seriously we will have either a no.9 seed or no.11 seed go to the final four. Has that ever happened before? Kansas St upset and knocked off Kentucky and Loyola beat Nevada earlier. So there you have it for Saturday's game for the elite eight, no.11 Loyola vs no.9 Kansas St. Crazy
 
I wanted some extra sweetness on my cereal this morning so I poured the tears of UK fans on it. Mmmmm, so, so good.


All we heard all week was how K State didn't stand a chance and that UK was Final 4 bound. Calipari's seat is starting to get hot in Lexington. Die hard UK fans are tiring of the one-and-done stuff since its not bringing in Final 4s and National Championships.
