That is interesting. I think Carolina would be the exact opposite. Just goes to show there's more than one way to get talent.

He may end up being a better exec than he was a QB when it's all said and done. The way he gave that entire roster a complete makeover and a new coach with a declining QB in just two years is stunning.
 
Just because Denver had success doesnt mean that free agency is the way to build, they are lucky that Manning is retiring or they would have been in bad shape this season cap wise.

You say that now. If Denver had been bounced in the playoffs or blown out in the Super Bowl he wouldn't be.

He hitched his horse to one of the best all-time QBs in history (a wise but hardly bold move) and won 1 Super Bowl. Now go out and get your own QB and let's see how you do in a crowd.
