Sheldon Brown CB 11 CLE UFA +7.5 903
Chris Houston CB 6 DET UFA +7.4 931

Top ten CB's. Wonder if Coyle will have any interest in the two from Cinci or, maybe Philbin in Shields from GB?

It's an eyeball rating in grading each player on every play, not stats. They include = or - in run, pass, block, penalty, etc. This is their overall rating. The pay per view breaks it down per category.

Patriots will probably let Welker go, pick up Hartline on the cheap and turn him into the next Welker.

Very similar situation, Welker was going into 4th year with 2 TD and had just had his best season receiving and almost led the team.
Not considered worth a 1st round tender he went to New England and scored 37 TD's in 6 season and was elected to 5 pro powls.

Hartline is going into his 5th year coming off his best season after leading team in yardage. But with only 7 TD's in 4 years the same cloud hangs over Hartline as did with Welker.

If he teams up with Brady it is going to be a long next couple of years. Hartline will be in the Pro bowl if he goes to the Patriots.

Yeah but this has actual grades from people who know what they are looking at when they watch players.

Also, consider the snap counts on players. Many listed are not full time players but, have done well in limited play.

That was totally uncalled for. A guy comes here, spends a lot of time to put together something for Phans to read, if they choose to do so, and deserves a little respect for doing so. JMO

Yeah, these Damn SOB's from PFF are way overrated. They are all over the media, and are used by high profile player agents, and NFL GM's to negotiate multimillion dollar NFL contracts. What the hell do they know that you do not?

    Just picking on ya. :)

Nobody is worried about Hartline replacing Welker on the Patriots?

PFF is good for some things, but they are far from perfect and they got their start not really knowing what the hell they were doing. Before the All-22 footage was released this season, they used to grade on TV footage. I'm sorry, but you cannot grade certain things by that, especially secondary play. I showed an early interest in grading/logging for them a few years back and I was not impressed by their methods.

He doesn't want to play for us. When he went to NE he said he didn't like playing for us at al. He's gone and never coming back.

The Dolphins need an elite receiver, not an overrate slot guy that also happens to be a cocky douche. We already have his clone in Bess.

EDIT: I am not calling Bess a douche or overrated. Welker is a douche and he's overrated as an elite receiver. Bess is rated just fine and he seems like a nice guy.

For me, I would appreciate reading Phins player grades from a number of VG posters here on TV footage. However, no one wants to spend the time to do it. I believe they have done a fine job in what they do until someone else does it better.

So, Bess is an overrated slot guy that happens to be a douche? How to win friends and influence people on a Dolphins forum.

No that's not what I meant. I meant Bess is his football clone as a slot guy. Welker is the only one that's a douche.
