If we're not picking at least 5-8 then this season is an even bigger loss than it currently appears to be.

I've been saying 6-10 but 5-11 is more likely not if not losing out. Not a chance in hell they win at NE, KC, or Buffalo. Can they beat Buffalo at home? It's possible. Will the Bills be in the playoff still at that point? We'll find out.

Denver is an abomination this year but no one here would be shocked if Osweiler was to throw for 275 yds and 3 TDs here in a few weeks.

if Tbum is still here, then it doesn't matter. Probably trade out of that spot for some overpaid garbage vets.

I haven’t studied any of them enough to really say although herbstreet based on what I saw Saturday made some excellent points about Sam darnold that I totally agreed with

We need to get to a single digit number. TBum does need to go. He's wasted so many draft picks by giving them away o move up or trade them for inferior players.

We will be drafting top 10 and probably as high as 6. I have always supported Tannehill but a big time QB will be tempting. Having said that we have so many holes that swiss cheese has nothing on us. Trading down also makes sense if we can get a GREAT deal and of course depending on who's there and what we do in free agency. I just wish t-dumb wasn't calling the shots as I don't trust what he'll do with the picks. Knowing him we can expect him to move up(wasting more picks)for a player that can't get on the field

    Ozzy rules!!

I never said anything like that about Luck. Always figured him to be an average NFL starter slightly better than Tannehill.

Miami is trending toward a top 10 selection. A 5-11, 6-10 or even 4-12 season look likely to me and I'm not trying to be negative.

The team may end up in the hunt for one of the top quarterbacks, but I think that the team looks for a mid-round guy there (Falk maybe).

Could get a top corner, linebacker (maybe Smith from Georgia), defensive end or tackle. Nelson could be in play as well as the top offensive lineman. Lots of ways team could go there.

Tannenbaum is the biggest elephant in the room. Until he leaves this organization we can all expect mediocrity and poor drafts. Every season will be groundhog day which equals no hope for us fans. Unfortunately I don't see Ross making this decision. Now that I have typed this I need to see a psychiatrist.

Positive or negative? The majority of what I've heard is that Darnold should stay in college.

Currently picking 14th with so many teams bunched together with 3 - 4 wins is mind boggling right now. I don’t recall at this point in many years, so many teams within 2 games of a potential top 5-6 pick in the up coming draft. It’s unusual that there isn’t a more pronounced win/lose differential within the top 15 picks. I don’t believe Miami will win another game and that’s saying a lot with 2 games remaining against a struggling Bills team and another game vs the Broncos, who boast one of the top defenses, but a subpar offense. As for the Patriots, well they could play in potato sacks hopping around and still score 40 points on Miami. 4-12 is where I think Miami finishes and potentially gets a top 5-6 pick. Bradley Chubb anyone? If the QB’s all declare they’ll be a scramble for which ever team finishes ahead of Miami, who doesn’t need a QB (Houston)? Let the bidding begin!!! For what it’s worth @ #14 Bleacher Report has Miami Currently selecting OT - Orlando Brown from Oklahoma.

I want Barkley. Kid is such a playmaker. We need playmakers!!!!!!!! If we can't get Barkley. Id go stud lb or Lamar. Let Lamar sit for a year. If Tanny balls out next year. Then you have options.

Yeah, I'd like to see Miami add a dominant defensive lineman if one is available. They may be in a position to do that. Then I'd look to fill the needs on the offensive line. Something like:

    1. Christian Wilkins DT Clemson
    2. Billy Price C/OG Ohio State

They say he’s a primary read qb doesn’t get to his 2nd and 3rd progressions. I’d agree with it off what I saw but I’d still take him if he does come out. He should go back work on some of the progression stuff and be the #1 pick in 2019

If he does come out he will still go top 3 though because that aspect of his game just looks like it needs more reps

Top 10? No way, he'll be lucky to be picked by the 2nd round. Baker Mayfield is the only guy I'd take in the first at QB

If we dont take a QB in round 1 we need to trade down and take advantage of a team that wants one.

Oh hell no...Ask your boyfriend, size matters. Mayfield is a good college QB but don't burn the pick on a head case surrounded by some talent.

Miami needs a pro QB. Mans game...

Kid is definitely a tool. Think he may have some impulse control issues. I'm not sure his frontal lobe ever developed much beyond 16 years old. He has a distinct pattern.

Probably the best Senior QB on tape, but I've always been a little suspicious of him.

I absolutely love the idea of drafting Lamar and letting him sit for a year or two.

    13. Miami Dolphins
    Record: 4-6 (.520)
    Top needs: OG, ILB, RB
The skinny: Miami should be looking for additional talent at guard, linebacker, defensive end and running back (following the Jay Ajayi trade to Philly). The Dolphins have a chance to walk away from Ryan Tannehill's contract after this season for a price far less than he's scheduled to count against the cap, and QB could rise to the front of their needs list.

Chargers and Redskins get those 5th wins today.

Eli Manning showed tonight hes the main problem in NY. Giants are near the front of line right behind Cleveland in need of a QB.

Bengals and Raiders are likely to get wins over the Browns and Broncos, so they likely will notch their 5th wins on Sunday.

Carolina at NYJ, Jax at Arizona and Houston at Baltimore are the other games that currently impact our slotting. It would be nice if the Jets, Cards or Texans pull an upset.

Bills are unlikely to get a win at KC so at the very least that should help our SOS as will a likely Jets loss.

Giants can ill afford to win anymore games this season with the Broncos breathing down their necks in need of a QB. I don't expect the Broncos to win another game.

Teams will regret passing on Darnold. He's top 3 pick. Would say same for Josh Allen.

As much as Lamar Jackson has seemingly improved this year, I’m still somewhat skeptical of him. Malik Jefferson is another guy who’s seemingly improved and is a favorite of mine, but I still see some things that still make me nervous. He’s apparently one of the best coverage LB’s in the draft, and lord knows Miami needs that.

I agree. He's exciting for sure with that rare athletic ability. But his accuracy isn't there and that will show up even more at the next level.

If Miami right now is at #12, the team could end up near top 5 when all is said and done. I know it's the NFL and anything can happen, but it's hard to find 1-2 more wins with the schedule and the way the Dolphins are currently playing.

That would give the team a chance at an elite player, possibly even a quarterback.

If we get a top 5 pick Bradley Chubb and Minkah Fitzpatrick should be in play. Top 10 pick then Quenton Nelson should be in play.

    If we get a top
I so agree with this Chubbs I think is the most complete de to come out in along time, plays the run good and can rush the passer, and Fitzpatrick you can play anywhere in the secondary

At this exact moment we have the 7th pick. Still a lot of football to go.
