  • Is there a RB on the roster that is a must keep?
  • What to do with Chris Clemons?
  • Is AJ Francis worthy of playing time?
  • Is Starks, or Soliai worth resigning, and if so at what price?
  • Do they TAG Grimes, or try to negotiate a long term deal?
  • How much potential do they see in Tannehill?
  • Do they need to bring in competition at the QB spot?
  • Is Matt Moore worth his salary?
  • Are we running the right schemes to maximize our talent?
  • What is the long term vision for both the offense, and defense?
  • What is the plan for free agency as opposed to the draft?
That just touches the surface, and there’s little time to find these answers.

•What to do with the current LB’s?
Keep all of them for now, try to get at least one more outside linebacker in the draft/FA for competition at the position.

•Is there any offensive lineman worth resigning? (Pouncey aside)
John Jerry and Bryant McKinnie if the price is right, for insurance, both can be solid, but will not help make Miami’s line better. If they ask too much, Bye bye.

•Would Pouncey and the offense benefit from a switch to Guard?
Depends on the quality of the Center, if he is at least above average (Does not have to be a better center then Pouncey), moving Pouncey to guard helps the line huge.

•Is Carroll worth reinvesting in? Is Patterson?
If Patterson were to prove he can stay healthy keeping him would be very important, but he can’t, and will cost way too much against the cap, so let him go. Carroll proved himself last year to be dependable, and will not cost nearly as much, so he needs to come back.

•Is Cameron Wake declining? If so, what’s his worth in trade?

He is declining, but his skills are still worth a 1st round (which Miami will not get), so he is more valuable as a Dolphin player then trade bait. If someone offers a 1st round, trade him, but he is still in great shape, has about another 3-4 good years in him getting 8-15 sacks.

•Can Dion Jordan handle RDE, or is he more suited for OLB?
I believe Jordan can become a very good OLB, that can get pretty close to 10 sacks from a 4-3 defense, considering the D-line we have, that would be a huge luxary. He still needs to get stronger against the run, as well as pass coverage, but he can be a very good player at LB.

•Is there a RB on the roster that is a must keep?

I think Miller at worst, is an awesome change of pace RB, get a consistent starting RB, give Miller the ball around 10 a game, and he will become the weapon we hope of him.

•What to do with Chris Clemons?

As long as Miami can’t get a big play Safety, nothing needs to be done, the guy does miss quite a few chances to break open a game, but he also is very solid in coverage, and yes tackling.

•Is AJ Francis worthy of playing time?

When he 1st came in, he was looking like a good player, but he has not shown enough in practice or games to warrant a start, he needs to prove himself, or the answer is.

•Is Starks, or Soliai worth resigning, and if so at what price?

Both are, but can’t sign both. Starks is a better all-around linemen who can pass-rush, and Soliai is younger and better against the run (even if he did not show that in 2013). I predict at the end Soliai will be signed, Starks will be allowed to go.

•Do they TAG Grimes, or try to negotiate a long term deal?

Too expensive, and as well as he played this past year, I think Miami might actually try to sign him for to a 3 year contract…if they can’t get it done, then he will probably be tagged.

•How much potential do they see in Tannehill?

Huge…give him some time back there, and he will become a very good QB. One of the things that hurt him the past two years has been the way he has obviously been forced to stay in the pocket, once he is allowed to move around, he will be very good. At times he seems to throw even better on the run, then still.

•Do they need to bring in competition at the QB spot?

If they keep Moore, no, but if they let him go, then yes. I believe Devlin can be a quality backup, no need to keep Moore.

•Is Matt Moore worth his salary?

He is a good backup, but no, not worth that much, when Devlin can handle the backup position for much less.

•Are we running the right schemes to maximize our talent?

On offense, zone blocking and the linemen we have is the only problem we have (Would like a better RB that can get positive yardage while doing a good job picking up the blitz, and on defense, it still seems we are forcing 3-4 talent to play in a 4-3, but not as bad as we are on offense.

•What is the long term vision for both the offense, and defense?

On Offense Miami wanted to be an aggressive quick strike offense, which ran to setup the pass with Sherman…..with Lazor, Miami will still be aggressive, but more balanced.

On Defense, Miami’s front 7 wants to be a suffocating defense that puts ton of pressure on the QB, and allows little space for them run in, while the secondary plays aggressive in your face coverage.

•What is the plan for free agency as opposed to the draft?

I think Miami begins the fixing of the line in FA, and finish it off in the draft. Miami will also try to find a better, more consistent power back in FA. In the Draft Miami as well as O-line, will try to get another TE or big/tall WR, LB, DT, SAFETY.

Wake was hurt. He is as good as ever. Watch some games before he hurt his leg. Awesome, game changing player. He gets doubleteamed quite a bit which allowed Vernon to put up strong sack numbers.
