We have a few new injuries to report so lets get it started with the longest list... the Patriots.

Patriots
Out
RB Kevin Faulk (Foot)
T Matt Light (Ankle)
Questionable
OLB Tully Banta-Cain (Knee)
ILB Matt Chatham (Knee)
CB Randall Gay (Ankle)
T Brandon Gorin (Thigh)
DE Marquise Hill (Ankle)
WR Bethel Johnson (Knee)
CB Tyrone Poole (Ankle)
SS James Sanders (Ankle)
CB Chad Scott (Shoulder)
DE Richard Seymour (Knee)
CB Duane Starks (Thigh)
Probable
QB Tom Brady (Shoulder)

Adding injury to insult Richard Seymour was added to the injury report this week with a knee injury. If seymour doesn't play it may be hard for the Patriots to bounce back from their beating last weekend. Most likely seymour will play as he was participating in some of the practice on wednesday. Seymour doesn't get the big numbers, but if you hold out on the pats and they give in to you, that shows how important they see him as... There have been no new offensive injuries luckily. Surprisingly the patriots are currently the 32nd ranked team in the league in rushing. They are only averaging 66.3 yards per game. Thats worse than the jets and the 49er's. And don't expect it to get better anytime soon. If the D keeps giving up points BB will have to abandon the running game and start slinging it again. Kinda like what they have been having to do every game. It has not been giving a lot of attention yet, but the patriots are missing charlie weiss. Teams have been able to start and anticipate the pats on offense. Also old tricks are now just old. In years past the pats would run a certain play. Then they would run the exact same play on the next down. Most teams expecting something else would play it in a different way and the pats would reap the profits. This is no more. It's time to go back to being tricky, or the pats will be left in the past.

Jets
Out
QB Jay Fiedler (Shoulder)
QB Chad Pennington (Shoulder
Doubtful
FB B.J. Askew (Ankle)
Questionable
OLB Eric Barton (Ankle)
Probable
T Jason Fabini (Knee)
RB Curtis Martin (Knee)
WR Justin McCareins (Back)

Martin aggravated a knee injury last week when he got kicked by a Baltimore NT. Martin missed practice on wednesday, but you should expect him to be playing on sunday. Martin is probably the happiest that Vinny will be back under center. Especially after Bollinger lead him right into the center of the ravens Defense and he got whalloped. Good Qb's don't do that, And more importantly vinny wont do that. They could break 8-8, but if martin goes down they'll be lucky to go 3-13... Fabini may sit this week in favor of back-up scott gragg. Fabini was doing alright on the right side, but when he was getting beat to the outside his knee would buckle and bollinger would get sacked. Vinny is not very mobile, so they will need their tackles healthy, and they may use more Max protection packages. McCareins is another bollinger related injury. And they wonder why the jets receivers were dropping balls... If vinny can air it out you might just see the Martin of old, i mean young...

Bills
Out
DT Ron Edwards (Shoulder)
Doubtful
WR Roscoe Parrish (Wrist)
Questionable
TE Tim Euhus (Shoulder)
T Mike Williams (Ankle)
SS Coy Wire (Thigh)

The biggest loss here is DT Ron edwards. He has the size of departed Pat williams (6-3 320), but not the same amount of ability. Currently the team is trying to find out if his shoulder will require surgury or not. He will be replaced by DT Tim anderson (6-3, 304). This is another loss from an already suffering run defense. RB's are averaging 4.88yards a carry, and QB's are averaging 5.19 yards per carry. Expect miami to pound the ball down the middle of a reeling bills team. Besides that there are no new injuries from the bills. Expect a Trench war this sunday as Jason Taylor goes against converted guard Mike Gandy, and the 3rd leading active sacker goes against former dolphin Greg Jerman. This could get ugly. Especially for Holcomb as he is mot known as the mobile type. Expect to see willis Mcgahee and a lot of 3 step drops. The bills will try to take advantage of a weak miami secondary.

Dolphins
Questionable
OLB Junior Seau (Calf)

Junior missed part of practice on Wednesday. If he doesn't play free agent aquisition Donnie Spragan will fill in. Spragan was impressive in the pre-season, but got beat out by the stellar play of Channing Crowder. If spragan plays it should not have a very big drop off in performance.... Tebucky jones is still bothered by his hamstring injury, but expect him to play on sunday. Most think that he has just been resting his leg up for the game at the ralph.... The comparisons to Ronnie Brown and cadillac may take a turn. With cadillac out of gas with two injuries, and brown having a good game last week, Brown being picked ahead of Williams may become justified. Only time will tell...

Thats it for the injury report. In coming weeks i will also try to add in the teams that will be playing against the AFC east. Please add coments, and anything helpful. This will be posted on TheGangGreen website also.
