And so it begins.....

No fu**ing way!! Walter Samuel is a great defender. Top 5 Defender in the World IMO. He plays for Argentina (my fav. national team) and now he plays for my fav. club team. Real Madrid is just too rich, it should be illegal, but it isn't! Incredible, this team just gets better and better every year.
 
Now on my insight to Samuel. Top 5 Defender in the World. He can ball. He doesn't over commit so If you see him get shook, you just witnessed a fluke. Not only that, but he will usually stay in position and get a foot on shots outside the 18. His speed is average, but he positions himself really well, so rarely will you see him get burned. His big weakness is high crosses. He is average size, and his jump is not too bad, but for some reason he struggles with crosses and lets the offender get a head on the ball. So If he faces a Crespo, or McBride. Overall, he is still one of the best defenders playing the game, but he doesn;t get recognition because of course...he is a defender.
